Lose this game, RichRod and just keep on walking out of the stadium into State Street and play in traffic.

Even more pathetic is that Delaware refused to play DEL ST for years and scU-M jumps at the first opportunity to schedule them. Fucking pathetic.

First, Delaware State plays D1-AA or FCS football not D2. Why is this so hard for people to grasp? D1-AA Football schools are on the same level with D1 schools in every sport but football.

Second of all, Delaware State is a black college and is not even close to the top level of teams in D1-AA

Michigan by 28 or RichRod should quit.

Which do you like better - ketchup or catsup? Q-tips or swabs? Trash or garbage?

1-AA or 2 - shouldn't be on a schedule unless you're in the big 10 or sec.

They should've played Delaware instead just because of the uniform they wear...it would be like seeing double.

In my attempt to not bash U$C I'll just say this. When teams start scheduling teams with Weslyan in their names then we've got a problem.

C+

When no mention of USC was called for you gotta actually NOT mention USC.

Baby steps though, I realize that. You're off to a great start!

You make a great point though. Any program with the name "Weslyan" included should not appear on the schedule of a BCS conference team.

I'd go one step further though. I'll call this the SEC Rule, which would state that any school with one of these...

.....included in its name may also not appear on the schedule of any BCS conference team.

No exceptions. None. Ever.

If you don't play a school in your league (D1) then that game should not count on your record. It should correctly be treated merely as an exhibition game.

Even though I agree 100% there are those times when those little schools do jump up and bite the big boys in the a$$, and not to mention the big payday they get to help their programs.

There are also those times where schools have as many as two or three games canceled on them with 8 months or fewer left to get a replacement. Sometimes they have to reach into their wallet and pay the small timer out the wazoo for a crappy home game they won't make as much money on attendance and concession wise while praying it doesn't hurt them in the polls if isn't a 40+ point blow out.

at least this game can count toward bowl eligibility considering we didn't beat the last i-aa opponent.

1-They still sell the game out anyway. Doesn't matter whether it's Georgia or Weathervane Tech in town, Death Valley or Jordan-Hare are going to sell out and the concessions stands will do the same amount of business.

2-Instead of picking up the phone to call Weathervane Tech those same D1 ADs with open slots on their schedules could easily call each other instead.

They call Weathervane Tech because it's the path of least resistance. They get another home game, another full house, no requirement to reciprocate and a nice record padding blow out involving no risk of losing.

They mask these reasons with the ever loving, "We're helping out a local school/old coach/former player" nonsense.

B.S. They're not about helping out anybody but themselves. If it were about altruism they could simply write Weathervane Tech the check. They don't need to subject those poor guys to a severe ass whipping as penance for accepting the check.

It's nothing more than at attempt at face saving.

It sucks to play these games. I want to believe that UM tried to get a mid-major or better team to play in its 13th game, but I don't know how it happened. I can tell you that nobody that I know who owns UM tix is happy paying for these shit games, they're a joke. There is no reason to play a non-BCS opponent, none. UM deserves any and all bashing over this game, but I will also bash any other school's pansy ass schedule.

So 63 schollies is the same as 34?
Is 85 the same as 63?

If so, then everyone is D2.

63 = 34....only in LA I guess.
