Give them a break Rog. They are in only their second season as a D-1 program. They have won two straight NCCAA world series. You won't find them in the rankings, but they could easily beat FSU on any given day just as they could beat RICE on any given day.

What did you expect from RtS?

OK.

I'm going out on a line here, and say, finally, and formally:

Dallas Baptist baseball team sucks.

http://www.dbu.edu/athletics/schedule.asp?SportID=1

There's the schedule/results.

I would have to say, that in the past 25 years of college baseball, the top teams have been:

Texas
Miami
USC
Pepperdine
Arizona
Florida
Florida State
LSU
Fullerton
Oklahoma
Texas A&M
Stanford
Wichita State

There are about 10 others that make that list.

DP........DOES NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get it?

MENSA?

Geez

Mr. T...I ran from nothing.

The premise was so incredibly stupid, I felt no further response was necessary.

Get it?

Seeing as though you ran from the thread with the entire argument I figure I'll bring it to you. Texas players playing in florida =2, Florida players playing in Texas = 0.

Dallas Baptist won series with 6 ranked teams last year.

Did either me or lefty state that Dallas Baptist a team playing at the NCAA D1 level for a couple years was a top 25 team of all time. No! Are you to ignorant to understand the difference a good team and a power house, obviously. Show me a team they lost to that isn't going to be in an NCAA regional.

You tried to compare the state of Florida to the State of Texass in collegiate baseball. Sorry it isn't even comparable talent wise. Glad to see you were able to single out one school from a broad statement to ping on for down year. Dallas Baptists baseball program year in and year out is still better than the majority of schools in florida. Next you'll be claiming that Central, South, and West Florida deserve more respect than DP.

The State of Florida is obviously invincible as well seeing as though UF has been beaten by teams such as UNC-Ashville, Charleston Southern, and Villanova.

The fact that Central Florida is ranked in the top 20 is absolutly laughable beating up on DII teams while getting throttled by such powers as LeMoyne, Sienna, and Bethume-Cookman.

What other teams besides FSU and Miami compete in baseball at the D1 level?

Shaddup!

You don't exactly have the rep of a genius.

BTW, I was one of the original Animals with Mongo, a very good freind.

Anyway Suncoast, there are 4 Fla teams in the top 25 and 4 Texas teams in the top 25.

I will do some research on Fla. players playing in Texas.

I love this quote btw :

Did the #12 and #20 teams escape your notice MENSA?

FLorida took 2 of 3 from Miami already this year.

USF fields a decent team now and then as well.

That #20 team has no buisness there though. I addressed them in a previous post.

Florida hasn't earned that spot yet. They have only one series against another top 25 team so far, against Miami and it was at home. They have also taken some pretty hard losses themselves.
