BTW, on Knight. My theory is that ESPN asked him to join them in studio for one night, as like a special guest, and he just kept showing up, and everyone at the the WWL is too afraid of him to tell him that he wasn't hired as a full-time analyst.

It was a "Junior College" prior to being part of the University of California.

The Cal mascot is the "California Grizzle Bear" a.k.a. The Golden Bear. Hence, "the bruin"... another word for a bear.

The Cal fight song was "stolen" by ucla....
