I'm in the process of doing my taxes for last year and unfortunately, it looks like I might be writing a considerable check to uncle sugar this year. Not like he doesn't need it I guess.

There is one thing about it that pisses me off. A $91 fine for under withholding. Fukkk that. I mean, apparently, I did under withhold, to the tune of over 3K infact, but, if I filled out all my w-4s correctly, how the fukk is it my problem that my company's or wife's doesn't know how much to withhold?

Seems to me that they ought to eat that fine.

I looked up how they calculate the fine. It's prime rate plus 3% of the money. Funny how when they over withhold, they don't return the favor.

I usually break even or get a little bit at tax time. I think I had to write one decent sized check before, but, it wasn't anywhere near 3 grand.

I suspect the reason for this is the OL works a few different part timer gigs as an xray tech. And each one withholds as if she is a poor fukk, which she is, if you count just the income fom that employer. Trouble is, it all ads up to decent income when combined with mine. Not talking 88 income of m2's fantasy income, mind you.

Oh well, I guess I'll just take solace in the fact that next year I'll see a nice tax break. I mean, i'm way below 250K and president obama promised us that we'd get back in tax savings, some of that money the evil old rich white dudes were stealing from us.

Yea, but Bo and Luke will let you hitch a ride in the General Lee while Uncle Jessie and Daisy thwart Boss Hogg's evil plan to get you sent to prison for breaking your parole.

Speaking of which...

Considering all the truly bad tv ideas that have come down the pike, including all the endless bad spin-off shows, how is it that nobody ever came up with the idea to give Daisy Duke her own show? Hell, along with the stupid car chases she was the only reason teenaged boys ever watched that stupid show. Why not give her her own HBO special?

As stupid tv shoes go who wouldn't watch an hour's worth of her T&A?

Indy, no no, you've got it all wrong. Time is wonderfully munificent!

In thirty years this...

Not too bad of a deal.

Like any straight red-blooded American male, I'm all for T&A. Not sure what that has to do with these, though:

I'll have to take your word for it. I was too busy watching ESPN. Or the T&A Channel.

Van,

I guess you're a glass is half full type of guy.

On a side note, my wife is obsessed with Jessica Simpson. Anytime she tours, she has to go. ANy movie she's in, she has to watch. We have a deal. If there is no visual of her, then I do nat have to partake. So like in the car, don't have to listen to the music. Yeah, I took her to a concert about 5 years ago. Never again. It's her 1 big flaw, but I can get past it.

Indy, I actually can't stand Jessica Simpson. I can't stand anything about her, and what her celebrity says about our society.

I also prefer brunettes to blondes, as a general rule.

That being said, fuck, Dukes Of Hazzard era Jessica Simpson was just stupid hot. No denying it. That body of hers back then was just impeccable. She even had a better body than Catherine Bach had in her heyday. Jessica's Daisy dressed sluttier too, which always scores big points with me.

Those thirty years did Daisy some good. Sayin'.

[softball]There could be excellent mileage here, should one choose to go after that bait...[/softball]

Nor can I, but she makes for good eye candy so I put up with her act in the presence of my better half.

As do I which is why I married a smokin' hot brunette.

Wags, not sure where you were going with that unless you meant that my wife would love to fellate Simpson. Huge stretch...
