ATM and Tech...you are up 19 at the half and get outscored by 26 in the second half by 3-13 Taco and lose....and lose any chance for an NCAA bid. I never liked Turgeon as a player...so i can't say i'm feeling too bad for him and his crying in the media about Big XII scheduling.

that NIT home game at Reed will be a hot ticket in Aggieland.

A&M will still be in the tourney. Just probably a 10 or 11 now.

To be honest, I'm still pissed we blew it away, but the "glass half full" side of me is glad Carter can at least rest his ankle some before Thur/Fri when the tourney begins. We'll need him.

By the way, did you watch the game? I watched it on ESPN 360. Mike Singletary was unconscious. He came off the bench for 43 points. Scored 29 in a row for taco tceh in the second half. He was throwing them up from everywhere and they were falling. At one point he was just smiling and shaking his head as if "I don't know where this is coming from."

I'm not 100% sure that aTm will be in........they probably will be but if a few weird things happen in either the Big 12 tourney or others across the country, they might have played their way out.

As for Singletary he was indeed unconscious, however I don't think a&m did much to try to slow him down or deny him the ball. It became very obvious after his first 10 or 12 points in that run he had that Tech's offense was basically to give the ball to Singletary and get the hell out of the way. Turgeon tried different guys on him but didn't really double-team at all and certainly never tried to deny him the ball. I'm not taking anything away from Singletary who was magnificent, but there is no way in hell a&m should have lost that game or let one person beat them like that.

All that said Singletary looked very "Jordanesque" last night and as an unbiased observer it was fun to watch.

I saw most of the game on 360--which is the most awesome thing ever even though i HATE ESPN.

Singletary had 43 in 31 minutes. he only played 75% of the game.

beating Kansas and this save Pat Knight's job for another non-hot seat year. in the long run, not sure that's a good thing for the Taco hoops fans.

looking now at ATM's rpi, 28ish...i think they are in. but losing to Tech is not making their case strong. like Indy says, maybe 10 or 11 seed. not a good place.

Ugh, that's why MSU dropped home games to Northwestern and Penn St. and ruined their chance of a 1 seed. Taylor Battle and Kevin Coble were nailing fade away 3s, banking them off the glass, etc., from 5 feet behind the line.

Prettay Prettay Prettay annoying.
