Mark it down, I'm calling it right here and now.

Maryland will beat Kal in the 1st round. And it will be over by halftime.

Though the game is in Kansas City, that's still central standard time-- a full two hours time difference for the coffee drinkers out in Berkeley.

Not to mention that the game is on a Thursday night and no doubt Kal's athletic department will completely shit the bed and put Jeff Tedford in charge of airfare booking & hotel arrangements. And no doubt will he completely fuck everything up (again) and forget to use Travelocity.com or Orbitz or Priceline.

Surely if the game were to be played on Friday, that might give the Kal players some extra time to study for exams and heal from all their injuries which would then free them up to play a cuter game of basketball. But that's not gonna happen on Thursday. Expect Kal to come out flat and tired and jetlagged. They are gonna get shitcanned by the Terps once again.

Maryland will be a tough game. You have to respect a team who has 3 wins over top 10 AP teams.

I think we beat Maryland if we have our normal shooting game. Maryland is a poor shooting team with no real post threats.

Memphis likes to run, run, and run some more. I think it will be worse than our game against Missouri.

I think the Sweet 16 matchup between Memphis and Missouri will be very entertaining.

Which of course presumes Mizzou makes the sweet 16. For the first time ever, I like the way you think.

Hmmm...you don't say...

Hopefully the kids at Cal get their proper rest...I mean a flight with tailwinds shouldn't be too difficult.
