ok,

1. so i read that Bill Snyder has just now started "embracing the technology" and learning to use email and text-messaging to recruit....

outside the "you can't go home again"....."history repeats itself, the first time as tragedy the second time as farce" angle of Darth Snyder back at KSU........I'm the only one who thinks is a bad sign? of course, you have to ask yourself...what is a text from Bill Snyder going to be?

2. who is going to play QB for Nebraska? reading CU boards (full with NU trollers)....looks like NU has lost 2-3 QB's since the season ended?

Think of some of the mental giants Snyder recruited first time around. Did you ever hear Michael Bishop or Darnell McDonald give an interview? He had some real country-bumpkin cornbread-eatin' box o' rocks dumbasses.

Whatever he's texting, he better keep it short.

This guy; more than likely.

Not that I felt the incoming recruit Cody Green was going to make much of an impact, but the kid got on campus at semester and has some mysterious hip problem that will hold him out of spring ball. NU battled ATM for his autograph.
Cody Spano an Okie Light transfer is the only scholly QB other than Lee.
Hell, an outside linebacker has switched to QB for the spring, he played the position in H.S.; Latravis Washington is his handle.

One guy left and it was no loss...Patrick (I want everything handed to me ) Witt....a Callahan poster child.

The way I see it, the only thing standing in the way of Snyder repeating history is for all former assistants to come back to papa bill. Once that happens, let the domination begin.

I'm starting to see a lot of progress in the Corn Husker program, I really think they are on their way back, once they get a few difference makers you will see the 10 win seasons start rolling in.

somebody has to step up in the North. MU has got questions at QB and will they ever play D? replace both coordinators. CU is a mystery with Hawkins....i go back and forth with the guy. he's either "doing it right" or a complete fraud. they'll be changing offenses AGAIN (so much for the Boise playbook he brought with him and he jazzed the media about pumping himself up). KU looks like the best coached of the North, do more with less.

NU has a good a chance as anybody and if they show up and play D.....they'll have a big advantage. Next year, KU, MU, and NU all travel to Boulder so if CU doesn't contend....I think they need to reassess where they are at. at least in terms of coordinators.

Honest To "G"..I don't much like blowing smoke or any other kind of shit on this board..but NU's defense WILL be a hell of a lot better, yet very young.
The linebackers and secondary will be a bitch and Pelini has focused on cover guys that like contact at both spots mainly because of the Big 12 spreads.
Suh came back at tackle and he's gonna be a first rounder this time next year.
A little know secret is Pelini redshirted 22 of 24 guys and a good share of which were on defensive side from the 07 class. 4 or 5 that could have started or played significant time last year. Which speaks volumes how poorly Callahan considered defensive talent being important. Dude would give a scholly to a 4th team QB and could care less about a quality corner.

From 110th thanks to Cosgrove to 52nd last year and I'm thinking top 25 this fall on defense..that will pay dividends in the north.

Snyder just dropped two starters from the '08 squad, including a quality wr in Deon Murphy. This team is gonna suck.
