Mich/OU should be fun to watch. I want to see Purdue/Wash since I've got the Boilers in my final 4, but will have to stream that one. Got a feeling Memphis is going to bounce back and crush Maryland.

Grivais won't let that happen. I actually kind of like MD in the upset. Although Grivais calls it "the ACC Conference," he said Memphis would finish under .500 in the league if they played in the "ACC Conference."
I hope people get knocked the fuck out today.

Doubt it. The Memphis D specializes against perimeter oriented teams. I'd love to see the upset, though.

If you enjoy watching two teams combine to go 20% from the field it will be.
I'm a Big Ten guy. I enjoy ugly basketball.

Memphis is already showing just how outmatched Maryland is.

Loooong way to go but I'm loving my Memphis -9 pick today!!!
As soon as I saw the Terp morons spouting off about how great the ACC is and how Memphis couldn't hang I doubled my normal bet on Memphis. Nice job poking that sleeping dog with a stick Twerps.

A&M just looks outmatched right now.

We are. Badly. The refs fucking killed us in the first 10 minutes, but we had plenty of open shots and did nothit them. UCONN is still at about 60% FG for the game with 10 to go. They are hot. We are not. The refs, after the first 8-10 minutes or so, have called it pretty fair. We just have not taken advantage and Price is on fire. Adrien is killing us too. Leavinghim wide open right and left.

Some good games going. OU/Mich will probably go down to the wire. Purdue looks real strong. UNC on the ropes. A loss by them would destroy everybody's bracket, including mine as I have them winning it all, but I'd love to see LSU pull the upset.

Much better than those unwatchable blowouts earlier. Forced me out of the house to do some yard work.
LSU looking really confident. Mich/OU a freaking war.

Yeah, not so much. You gotta produce in your bread and butter dept. when you can't stop Blake inside.

Top two PX teams go down
UCLA was totally dominated, embarrassingly so
Brockman almost single handily saved the Huskies.
Arizona oddly enough has the best chance of making the Sweet 16. Although the big 3 will have to play as well as they did against Utah because Cleveland State looked real good against Wake.
Why am I stuck watching Dook and tejas.... here in San Francisco ?
The 50 in plasma wishes it had the Gon (west coast kinda) and WKU game.
The online just isn't the same.

Cause your local CBS affiliate is as delusional as you. 95% of the country is watching this piece of shit instead of a competitive contest in Porkland. Fuck Duke and fuck most CBS markets being "Duke Markets."

It's time to take the games from CBS.
They really are about 5 years behind reality and how to produce a quality product.
What a game on the west coast.

I know you make Jerknic look like a Rhodes Scholar on a daily basis, but it's your CBS AFFILIATE you should be pissed at, not the network in general.
On general principal, go fuck yourself, tard.

Being that you're not a bright guy and you're from the
MIDWEST... you'd have no idea that "local" affiliates" are under contract to the "NETWORK" unless the game is local.
The MIDWEST may produce more idiots per capita than
the south.... and that's sayin' something.

Uhm. Sure.
It's the refs fault you have to resort to fouling to keep from getting burned on every fucking play? Learn to play some fucking D.
You're lucky the refs called a couple of shit fouls on Thabeet or else you would have lost by 40+

Griffin was as good as advertised yesterday...reminds me a lot of a guy like 'Big Nasty' Corliss Williamson during Arkansas' title run. The tournament usually comes down to guard play but if you have a dynamic big man...that is about as important as a play-making point guard or a big-time scoring 2-guard/small forward.
Syracuse over Arizona State
Wisconsin over Xavier
Kansas over Dayton
Arizona over Cleveland State
Pittsburgh over Oklahoma State
Missouri over Marquette
Michigan State over USC
Louisville over Siena

It'll be interesting to see how effective James is after such a long layoff. If anything his being in uni could provide an emotional lift for Marquette.
Lucrative day for me yesterday.
Memphis -9,
Purdue +1,
OU -6.5,
Today tips off nice with an interesting matchup between Cuse and ASU. I wanted to pull the trigger on an ASU upset but couldn't quite do it.

I've got ASU in that one. Can't wait for the game. Right now I'm feeling about 40% confident on the pick. Cuse is playing very well.

also the kind of game where OU's 60-65% FT shooting bites em in the behind.

ASU's entire offense today was predicated on two guys passing it back and forth from the wing to the top of the key, and somebody jacking it up 5 feet behind the line with 5 seconds left on the shot clock.
Nice preparation by Sendeck. It was like they've never seen a zone before.

i'm sure the refs will just make up a foul to call on syracuse if ou can't get the ball in to griffin. jesus, when did boxing out become a foul? i'm glad that dude's gone after a year: imagine the tebow he'd become if he stayed a full four.

About the same time that standing there flat-footed with your arms raised straight up when Blakey-poo jumps
into the defender became "and 1".
And then he'll look down and admire his guns... before bricking the free throw, of course.
'cuse just needs to hammer the fuck outta' him, get their monies worth, and make damn sure he doesn't get the lay-up.

i like the way the refs paused the USNO master clock so griffith could patch his boo boo. most people would have to sit out till the next dead ball. the guy's already dominate enough; the refs don't need to bend over backwards to accommodate him. at the very least they didn't have to build the frame for the tent he used to sleep in the lane with.

Boxing out becomes a foul when you jump underneath the guy trying to get the rebound or shove the guy. Maybe if Michigan didn't run a junk defense they'd rebound better.
hardly. i don't think michigan lost because of the refs. i think they lost because of ou. at the same time, you're being an absolute homer to pretend those weren't shite calls, especially the one on sims. he boxed griffith out perfectly and the ref decided it was a foul because your boy decided he had a shot at a ball even though he was four feet behind the basket. of course he got upended. physics and shit.

i've watched plenty of basketball, and like most ppl who've watched plenty of basketball i commented on an absolute shite call. tell me you knew. or are you going to post another smug photo?
Boxing out becomes a foul when you jump underneath the guy trying to get the rebound or shove the guy.
so, homer, please explain how this applies to the comment i made. no one jumped nor shoved your tebow.

alright, you're not a homer, nor are you smug. i'll settle for hypersensitive. oh shit, someone didn't start a thread congratulating ou for their win; time for images.google.com. i'm not bitching about the manny harris foul, though he didn't run underneath griffith; in fact he didn't move at all aside from bending over to protect himself from the large man coming down on top of him. but being in the wrong place at the wrong time tends to be a legitimate foul call when someone falls on their back that way. the sims foul didn't even approximate body checking him out of bounds, as you put it. they were fighting for position, sims made a textbook box out, and griffiths' response was to jump after a ball he had no chance out because he was, uh, boxed out. so yes, the refs did bail him out there.
i fully understand that stars get star treatment, and that most of the time those calls aren't so much treatment as the less-than-star players generally foul more to compensate for the talent gap. it still doesn't mean i'm going to let out some passive oh-well sigh while watching as your star throws my mediocre player aside, dunks, and is awarded a free throw attempt for the inconvenience of sharing a court with some junk defensive scheme. i'm sure your response to the ou-oregon game a few years ago was, oh well, homer refs and all. i'm going to go for a walk through my garden.
i'm happy with my team's season. my school got to the 2nd round despite fielding two inconsistent "stars" and a bunch of scrubs. i think we lost because it's the time of year you play teams much better than we are. selah. that still doesn't mean the refs didn't hansborough your boy's pee pee.

The Michigan radio announcers even talked about the "star calls" with Griffin...I'm not denying that he gets those calls because he plays a physical game and his game involves contact.
