The coolest thing about making a stupid video is I've place stupid items in the background for slack-jawed trailer trash to look at for days. 30 year old song for Dins.

If you notice in the back lower right there is a kick ass Screech Owl house I made for an Asian girlie that I sit next to. Then there is the launch pad I use for these little tiny remote helicopters that I fly around this dump. Brand name is "Air Hogs" and they have created the coolest remote aircraft that is hard to break, etc. I fly these things around the dump/pad and they are so kick ass fun.

Van or R-Jack, I'm still bumbed CCR isn't really from Lodi. Just hi-jacking a thread due to no good reason.

You should try a Fulltone DejaVerb, and make sure it's in front. It won't be so much EVH, it'll be more full on "Bridge Of Sighs" Robin Trower, almost like a real Leslie effect, and it's fucking awesome.

Van you are actually pretty bright. I've recorded both videos of stupidity on a Cannon Power Shot A530 camera. This ain't shutyomouth's shotgun cowboy. I borrowed a multi track recorder a few months ago and it was the hardest thing to learn. It was so frustrating I gave up. So I just use this camera until my buddy gets his studio built.

What you see in this video is me tarding it up with an MXR Flanger on top of a Mesa Boogie Mk-IV amp. No MXR Phase 90 in this one. The last one was me playing with the Phase 90 and I stomped on and off the MXR Flanger.

I don't think with my simple set up that I can't sound different than the EVH sound. A fellow classmate of mine that has been playing in bands for years recently gave me an original Crybaby pedal that I need to fix and I will incorporate it in future rants.

Robin Trower has always been a favorite but he sounds more like Pat Travers on 'ludes. Thanks for the YouTube link.

If you're going to get an Original Crybaby box it up and send it to Robert Keeley. He'll make it True Bypass, he'll add a volume balancing adjustment and with the addition of his internal trim pot he allows you to dial out the Crybaby's penchant for adding too much gainy treble at the top of the sweep.

When you get the thing back a week later it's dead silent, on or off, it doesn't cut any signal strength from your other effects and it sounds phenomenal. Better yet, it's controllable, even with humbuckers and a high gain amp.
