Nobody else has been able to win with the 'Tardinals for a long time, and yet he won the NFC in his 2nd year there.

The ones I think have a better than average chance...

Jeff Fisher: 128-102, 5-6 in playoffs, 1 AFC Championship: Probably the most underrated coach in the NFL. If he wins a Super Bowl he's in. Otherwise he'll have to stick around for another 8 years to pick up his 200th win to have a chance.

Bill Cowher: 149-90, 12-9 in playoffs, 2 AFC Championships, 1 Super Bowl Championship: Best winning percentage of the group. He's in as soon as the Hall voters believe he's retired for good.

Mike Holmgren: 161-111, 13-11 in playoffs, 3 NFC Championships, 1 Super Bowl Championship: He's in.

Mike Shanahan: 146-98, 8-5 in playoffs, 2 AFC Championships, 2 Super Bowl Championships: He's in.

Because it brings out the nickpicking fuckwad in you. Perhaps I should have been more specific and said that Cowher had the best win % of the group of 5 coaches I had selected? Would that have been enough for you to turn off prick mode?

The fact that you left out Dungy (a stone cold lock) out of your 5 is a more egregious offense than your shit math. You mention Fisher as a maybe and leave out an obvious choice -- much like the President... Dungy may not be the most qualified but he's likable and "the first n|gger", so he's in. Book it.

Fair enough about Dungy. Though he never particularly impressed me. How many Super Bowls do you think Shannarat, Cowher or Belicheat could have gotten out of Gomer Manning? I'm guessing more than one.

He never impressed me either, but he won with two separate franchises, is well liked, black, and has a title. Two if you count the one "Gruden won with his guys"... or as I like to look at "won with his guys where Dungy couldn't."'

Who knows about the Manning angle. He was a certified choker, just like Dungy... until a few years ago. Perhaps just the one is all he'll ever be good for, no matter who was/is at the helm.
