i think it's an interesting move, that happened pretty quick once Grant (and probably Capel) were off the board.

i don't know about Bennett's style at UVA, seems like a concession almost for a team with legit history like UVA. we'll need to try and win with a strategy and "style of play".

I could be wrong. UVA DOES have a sweet new gym. I'd love to see OU build something like that. ain't happening anytime soon, but a guy can dream....though the LNC ain't as bad as Cletus makes it out to be. Watch Purdue and Illinois on TV and they have the same gym as the LNC.

Right now I'm hearing it's between Ken Bone of Portland St. and Stew Merrill of Utah St. . . . . Terry Porter, who played college ball for Dick Bennett, had expressed interest earlier in the week but it doesn't look like much has materialized on that front.

There's something mysterious about Stew Morrill. he was fairly successful at Colorado State and then took the Utah State job--where he's had a several tournament teams, wins 20 games a year, and beat Ohio State in the first round 6-7 years ago. but, CSU to Utah State is not even a lateral move and he wasn't fired at CSU.

And now I hear Mike Davis is being interviewed on Saturday!?
