I blame it all on my dog

So let me get this straight.
Mom dials 911 because her sons dog is pissing on the floor. Cops arrive expecting to deal with some idiotic domestic disturbance that involves a dog. Instead, they find some nut in a bullet proof vest with an AK-47 laying in ambush. Minutes later, there are 3 cops laying on the ground bleeding, possibly already dead, but no one is able to help them because the perp is still shooting.
Ok, so it really wasn't
all the dogs fault. Seems this guy was upset over Obama wanting to take away his gun rights. So the perfect solution to that problem is, of course, getting in a gun battle with a SWAT team.
You can't make this shit up.

Crap, they just updated the article, but there was a quote from the police chief referring to the killing of 4 police officers in Oakland a coupla' weeks ago.
Something to the effect of "we're used to hearing about something like this happening in California, but not Pittsburgh."
Yeah, no shit. Who'd have ever thunk this could happen in Pittsburgh? I am shocked.

No shit....wouldnt expect the media to use a tragedy like this to push their own agenda.
I hope the next guy in "fear" that Obama is going to take his guns opens fire down at his local newspaper....in the offices where the propagandists hammer this shit/news out.

These three officers were from Zone 5, which is where I reside. Officer Kelly responded to a call I made a few years ago, when some kids were slashing tires on the block. He was on the way home from his shift, decided to back up his brothers, and ended up getting killed.
It's a testament to the restraint of the officers that the actor was not slain...I don't think I could have shown that restraint.
One family we're friends with lives on that block, thankfully they were away this weekend. I know a lot of folks in that neighborhood - it was a war zone yesterday.
Whatever motivated this asshole, the police had been to the house "dozens of times" for domestic disturbances. The kid loved to beat his girlfriend and his mother. He was kicked out of the Marine Corps - boot camp, actually - for assaulting the drill sergeant.
Awful shit happens every day - this one cuts pretty close, to be honest.

Yes, because as we all know, news reporters and everyone else who works in a newsroom are card-carrying liberals and because you have this idiotic idea they are propagating the news, they should be murdered.
I have a better idea for you, dickslap. Cut your fucking cock off and stick your head in an industrial-sized garbage disposal before throwing the switch, you shit-eating fucktard. Go fuck yourself.

No doubt. Either that, or his friends are in on the conspiracy as well.
Friends have said Poplawski was concerned about his weapons being seized during Barack Obama's presidency, and friends said he owned several handguns and an AK-47 assault rifle.

Friends probably also said he was a loser who surfed for internet porn in his parent's basement. What does that have to do with his popping off and killing cops ?
Was his motive that he thought "they were coming for his guns" ?
Or was he trying to commit suicide by cop and go out in a blaze of glory because he's a deluded turd ? I think the latter is more like it.
I don't recall anyone saying anything about all the Obama supporters in the small crowd celebrating the death of the California Police Officers, do you ? They were, so why not ?
And oh BTW, the AK is right now, a highly targetted weapon. How coincidental.

First off, Corky... nobody's going to take your paper rout from you if half the reporters and editorial staff get whacked by some nut job. You will still be able to purchase cheetos, mountain dew, and hand soap to wash the cheetoh dust off your twig. Calm the fuck down before your mother doubles up your ritalin dosage per doctor's orders whenever you start slapping the floor like a chimp and running around the basement.
Secondly, deny that 99% of the media in all forms get all giddy when something like this goes down. Tell me they don't push agendas with spins and twists using tragedies like this.

Why?
Besides the cost of trying a capital case, a head shot would have at least saved the families of these officers having to relive their grief for years as the POS goes through the (un) justice system. So why is it better that this crap is still sucking oxygen?

Diego, I'm sure we all agree with you that it would've been better to kill the guy, but the point WW was making is that the jackass wanted to die. He was denied this, and now he has to be miserable, forever.
WW is just saying that it's better that the guy didn't get what he wanted.

Personally, I seriously doubt his concern over losing his second amendment rights - if he hadn't forfeit those already due to domestic violenece - was his primary motivation.
I too thought suicide by cop might have been a motive - "going out in a blaze of glory" - but the fact he wore body armor makes me think that wasn't his motivations.
Maybe, he's just a fucking nutcase.

I get that. I'm just more concerned about the families' needs. I couldn't give a rat's frosty keester what the piece of crap wants or doesn't want.

Rack that. I hope they keep him segregated in the penitentiary. He would probably be some sort of hero around the career criminals for offing 3 cops. Any wage he earns working in the pen, no matter how minimal should go directly to a fund for his victims' families.

If I'm a family member of the deceased, I want to look this fuck in the eye and ask him why. I want him to endure the court system. I want him to know what it's like to have your freedom taken away. There is no greater punishment.
Death would have been a welcome reprieve for this guy and to his credit, he didn't take the cowards way out by committing suicide.
Society wins.

Whatever GOSD, your post still reads like a juvenile prick trying to sound as if he has game. I'll still try and address you as a man.
If the guy's stated motivation winds up being "I was afraid Obama would take my guns", then report it. If he had a list of targets, politically motivated, then print it. I am just not sure how relevant his shooting spree is to the fact his "friends" say he was afraid Obama was going to take his guns.
I am entitled to my opinion, as you are yours.

And when that guy goes to the immigration office and murders 13 people because he hates America, they better report it. You right wing nutjobs are all flipping out now and it's a growing problem. I want the media to constantly report it despite your bitching otherwise about them having a political agenda. Right wing nutjobs have been flipping out for years and you just want to push it under a rug, because it makes you uncomfortable. Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, etc. followers are more dangerous than Al Qaeda and are only going to get worse.

Patently untrue GOSD. Number one you assume these guys don't like Obama because they're "right wing" ... you know this how ?
Number two, in the case of the PA perp, are they pertinent facts ? So far, not yet. At least not as pertinent as Obama's relationship with William Ayers and as Eric Holder's pursuit of pardons for FALN members. We didn't hear much about that in the "mainstream".
All I'm asking for is this, are those facts relevent to the case ? If they are, print it, if they aren't don't bother. If they become pertinent, then print it.
Can you grasp that simple concept ? To try and state there is no bias in media, is simply not true. You're either blatantly lying or you are insane, i.e. believing a lie to be the truth.

WW, society definitely doesn't win. Sure, the guy may not've gotten what he wanted but society is the big loser in this deal. Society now gets to waste its time and a fuckload of $$ on this guy. Between the cost of running him through the judicial system and the cost of warehousing him for the rest of his life society will completely take it in the ass on this one.
A single bullet to his melon saves society millions, while also providing the dreaded "closure" to the families of the victims.

I didn't say anything about Obama. Hence the reason you are so easy to fuck with by right wing talking heads, because you can't grasp that "right wing nutjobs" doesn't translate to- "hating Obama".
Yeah, the guy in New York had a hard on for some president (going to assume it will be Obama), but stay on point Tom and don't get sidetracked with your incomprehension while reading.
I'm talking about gun loving, they are taking my jobs, welfare hating, ethnocentric, gay hating assholes that flip and shoot places up. The guys that state they are conservative and suck off whatever Republican is in office as if he's actually doing what they believe he represents. The type of person that could have had Bush come over every morning and watched him fuck their 10 year old daughter, but would have never intervened because Bush would have told them he was indeed not fucking their daughter.
You know the type of person who would support a prick in the white house no matter how bad he was dropping the ball, just because he said he was a Republican. That clueless type of fuckwad who is easily mislead, because they were dumbshits in the first place. They type of guy making minimum wage in a factory, who just lost their job and despite being an immigrant, somehow blames immigrants for fucking his economy up so he better go shoot him some immigrants. That type of bat shit insane character. A Joe the Plumber type who can't comprehend he's to much of a dumbshit to ever run his own plumbing business but somebody told him he could, so he believes it.

Guys like that, they just need to not make it to the next day. It's bad enough that Meds sees his medical premiums skyrocketing, due to illegal aliens and our welfare state. Now we gotta also ask the guy to pay to warehouse dirtbags like this?
