The other day I stopped at the G-Store and a carload of taco eating messicans pulled up....all of them had an open can of beer and drinking in the car....a couple minutes later the driver comes out with 24 more cans of beer....all of this in the middle of the day....and not even one ounce of effort to hide the fact that they were all drinking in the car.

Just as every pitcher must always accept the smoked comeback right to the dome as a real and distinct possibility every time he throws the ball, so must we all allow for some stink drunk walleye in a rusted 80's Gran Torino to be bowling for bicycle racers every time we jump in the saddle. Read the story. Nick's father just watched him pitch 6 scoreless innings and then stood in front of his dead son's locker the next morning in complete shock. It also said Nick has wanted to be a Major league baseball player since the age of 9. Fucking tragic.

As a proud father with two kids approaching the same age as his I can't imagine the anguish his old man must be feeling right now

A tragedy to say the least.

Thoughts and prayers to victims and their families.

My son just got his license a few weeks ago. Each time I see or hear a story like this now it hits home a little harder than before.

Heard about this on the way to Fenway yesterday. I was going to post pictures and stuff, but I'm not feeling it. They had a moment of silence for him before the National Anthem. I am sure the rest of the league followed suit.

I actually had Adenhart on my fantasy team (12 team AL only league.) Pitched a pretty deece game. Got out of trouble in early a few times. He was probably headed to AAA when Escobar, Lackey, and Santana return from injuries the next month or so...
