C'mon, macguyver frisco, you can do this.

Take a close to empty propane tank, hook it up to a compressor and pump that bitch up. Might take a few runs to get your stoichiometric deal correct, but that's half the fun. I would suggest filling remotely as I don't know the psi rating of a prop tank.

For your igniter take a length of 2-14 romex, strip back the wires at one end and short them using some very small gauge wire. At the other end you hook up to a car battery. A few hundred amps through that 24 gauge wire at the end will make a nice quick flash. Viola, remote igniter.

Fill your varmint tunnels full of your propane/air mix. Might wanna tumble the tank around a bit incase the propane settles in the tank. Snake the igniter as far in as you can get it. Grab a beer and the video camera and ....contact! Ka boom!!!

I almost wish I had some critter tunnels to blow up the more I think about this. Maybe I'll go dig some.
