of course it's obama's fault that Bush took his eyes off of Afghanistan and instead decided that invading Iraq would be a much better option....of course, by moving troops from Afghanistan to Iraq allowed the Taliban to reconstitute itself and now they're driving toward the capital of Pakistan....

invading Iraq had absolutely no destabilization effect on the clusterfuck that is Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq....the Taliban can see the goal and it's to overthrow the Pakistan government and yes, gain control of the codes to Pakistans nukes......then the fun will really begin

Pakistan has an army of over 500,000 troops. All they have to do is use it. I don't think they're too keen on our help either if their squawking over our Predator strikes is any indication. You wouldn't want to be the author if any further "instability" would you?

and of course every last one of those 500,000 troops are totally loyal to the current Paki government I'm sure....the current government in Pakistan is in such fluctuation right now, nobody knows who's loyal to who....but yeah, I think the "hands off" approach is definitely the way to go....the Taliban are gaining significant strength in Pakistan and if that doesn't scare the living piss out of you, it should
