When I was 21, I saw the Constantines in Kalamazoo. As I'm sure Marty knows, the Constantines are from Canada. Since I figured that all Canadian bands loved Rush at some point, in between songs, I yelled from the front row "What's your favorite Rush album?" The lead singer immediately went into an anti-Rush rant, which I blocked out because I was trying to block out everyone in the crowd laughing at me. One of the most embarrassing moments of my life.

The guys in Plants and Animals seemed like much nicer guys. I'll have to ask them next time they are in DC.
