Texas Dems no different than Pres Hussein

In an effort to avoid voting on a Voter ID bill, the Texas dems are willing to kill all additional legislation behind said bill. The Texas House has a 12 midnight deadline to vote on all Senate bills as the Session winds down. For the last few days the House Dems have spent the full 10 minutes discussing each bill instead of passing the local issue bills in blocks as has been done for hundreds of years. The questions of course have nothing to do with the bills, instead they are just stalling questions like where is the best place for mexican food in said locality.

If the Dems don't allow the remaining bills to come up for a discussion the Gov will call a Special Session of the Legislature and all of this process will start all over. The cost to the taxpayers is estimated to cost around $90,000 a day. Libs don't care a lick about spending your money, either at that state level or the Federal level.

Dems want to change the house rules and only discuss the bills they want. They understand that if the voter ID bill comes up in the House it will pass by a huge margin as the vast majority of the citizens of the state want to see it become law. They are trying to place the blame on the GOP for not amending the rules, something they never did in the 100 plus years they held the state majority. Granted the Dems then were not free spending, gun hating, gay marrying, big government supporters.

The GOP has held firm and said the rules will not be ammended and that the Dems will be responsible for a special session in which the Voter ID bill will be on of the first filed pieces of legislation because of its large statewide appeal. That way if the Dems want to continue their little game they will not be able to hold the state hostage and waste the taxpayers money again.

Small price to pay for the voter ID bill. Make it retroactive and that mother fucker Obama is not elected. Watch the libs cream their jeans over that statement.

Shocking...see Barak Hussien OMuslim. President of the United Socialist States of America. Get rid of that pesky Congress and suspend that flawed document called the Constitution and those fuckers will get all the business's, all your money and to each according to his needs.

Oh.. I am sure they will find a way to get their hands on the voters balls again some how. You guys have way to much money in that state to keep that bunch of salivating slacker liberals away from your wallets for very long. Money, especially other peoples money (OPM) attracts liberals like flies on shit.

Another debate is if the state should accept any or some or what of the Federal Bailout monies available to states. Clearly we all agree here that if the money is to be repaid then we should take zero.

If on the other hand it is free money maybe we should take all we can get.

Wrong. Again.

States already have a law that says adults must have some sort of photo ID issued either by the state or the Federal Government on them at all times when in public. If you don't apply for a drivers liscense then you are required to have a state ID card instead, if you don't have a passport, military ID, etc.

This new law in regards to voting only says that at the polls the voter must show their ALREADY REQUIRED BY LAW photo ID.

Forget the Dems...how is this sitting with the secession-oriented average Texan? A National ID card...say what?

The average Texan isn't in favor of punching out on the USA. Instead this is more of a statement towards the issue of states rights vs bailing on the USA. Many across the country feel that more and more items are being taken away from states and going to Washington. Hence the reason you have seen so many states passing resolutions supporting states rights.

The Voter ID bill here in Texas would have nothing to do with a National ID card. Rather as you already know it would require voters to show their REQUIRED state or federal ID.

Clearly current events isn't your strong suit. Then again cursing non takes are about your only strong point.

The secession talk and resolutions are now coming to the forefront because state legislatures are now in session. Most don't meet year round like in Washington. And no this isn't just something that started in Jan, liberal activist judges have been making laws from the bench instead of just making judgements on existing law for some time now. It came to a head recently because state legislatures are back in session and the taking of office of Pres Hussein.

United Republic of Texas (www.texas.freecountries.org) Yahoo Group: UtdRepTex, established 2005, functional as of 2007 (Combining the New Republic of Texas and Historical Republic of Texas) active as of 2008
The 110th United States Congress had two sessions the first of which met Jan. 4th 2007 thru Dec 19th 2007.

You lose on both counts. Kick your own ass much?

The only bigotry here is towards those who cant have a thought without a curse word, and bring nothing to the table, ie, you.

God you are an idiot. You said it only just started because the state legislatures were just now starting their session. The link is not to any legislative session. Try and keep on track you fucking dolt.
The 110th United States Congress had two sessions the first of which met Jan. 4th 2007 thru Dec 19th 2007.
Dems do work harder than Reps that is true but they hardly work a full year. The congress before worked for 242 days in 2 fucking years and the session you are discussing works 3 days work weeks. That is hardly a "year round" job.
The only bigotry here is towards those who cant have a thought without a curse word, and bring nothing to the table, ie, you.
Curse words? On a smackboard? The hell you say. You are a piece of steaming dog crap. You use BHO middle name when you don't do it to other people as a means of codifying him to your vile ilk. Fuck you asshole.
