The Muslim perception and the al Qaeda perception are not necessarily the same.

If you accept the part of the quote above about Obama's popularity in the Arab/Muslim world as true, then I don't see how you can characterize what he has done so far as being a failure - he HAS changed the Muslim perception of the US. If you take it to be part of the "worthless" spin/opinion or simply something that is untrue, what evidence is there to dispute it? Are you saying that the Muslim world outside al Qaeda and other terrorist groups is generally as pissed off toward Obama as they were toward Dubya?

He actually said he was going to raise taxes on people making > $250K/yr. So calling him out for that wouldn't count.

What he said was those making less than $250K would not see their taxes increase. Sounds the same, but slightly different.


When the Bush tax cuts expire and those making under $250K see their taxes increase he will have broken another campaign promise. As BSmack and I discussed back in the day Prez Hussein will have to extend the Bush tax cuts for those making under $250K or he will break this promise. I just don't see him extending those tax cuts, do you?
