Actor David Carradine, star of the 1970s TV series "Kung Fu" who also had a wide-ranging career in the movies, has been found dead in the Thai capital, Bangkok.

A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy, Michael Turner, confirmed the death of the 72-year-old actor. He says Carradine died either late Wednesday or early today, but he could not provide further details out of consideration for his family.

The Web site of the newspaper The Nation cited unidentified police sources as saying Carradine was found today hanged in his luxury hotel room and is believed to have committed suicide.

Carradine was a leading member of a venerable Hollywood acting family that included his father, character actor John Carradine, and brother Keith.

Seppuku would have been more appropriate.

Nice pity rack.

That was like giving a black guy props for being "well spoken," simply because you could understand him.

Not really, it was actually funny.

RACK Wolfie.

"Half - Rack" to Mgo for taking the glass dick like a man.

I am shocked I am about to do this but, Yoda's post was pretty funny, and not even on a the bell. It wasn't great, but it was funny.

Word is you disagree.

Gonna havta agree with TVO, there. That was a decent, respectably funny post by Wolfie. No qualifiers.

I admit to being stunned by it, to the point of double checking to make sure my eyes hadn't deceived me; nope, it really was a Wolfie post, and I thought it was a well executed quip. The pic fit the caption and the caption was correctly worded.

It was like one of those brief moments of lucidity, when a long-suffering Alzheimer's patient suddenly and inexplicably snaps back into the present, only to remind you that you still owe him $15.

Angels sang.

I laughed--- however--age smack is never fresh.
BTW-- when Kung Fu was a huge hit on TV, the kids in my biology classes took to calling me "Master O" and I'd call them Grasshopper. The blind top guru in the show was Master Po, in case you were still in diapers or an egg in your Mom's ovaries. Oops---that damned Alzheimer's again--age smack is never fresh.

Huh?

I hope you speak more coherently than you post. You use your mouth for a living, correct? Supposedly you're a lawyer too.

Wrong.

Wolf's post was funny.

So I only proved it once.

Wolfie, don't kid yourself. It ain't age smack. Luther is so old he makes you look like Mgo but nobody ever accuses his posts of always needing to get up in the middle of the night to take a whiz.

What people use on you isn't (usually) age smack. No, most often it's "You're literally painful to read" smack, and it would be equally applicable whether you were seventy or seventeen.

Do you post so dimly because you're so old? Dunno. Possibly. Thirty years ago were you a lot brighter, with much more cogent and interesting things to say? Back in the 70's, were you able to comment on something and not have people always look at you like you just farted in an elevator?

If so, there's your huckleberry.

I said "like." T'were an anology. The point was the sudden burst of lucidity, not the age. People of any age can post non-sensically. This board provides ample proof that dementia isn't only an affliction common to elderly zebras.

Oh, OK. As long as it was just an anology. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that it referred to Methuselah. Because it woulda worked just as well if it were aimed at Mgo or Coods or anyone not eligible to join AARP.
