Garage Decor

I got this little "Mancave" 4 car detached garage. Buddy of mine got into making yard signs on the local high school as well as Indy Colts. I asked if he could make me my two football teams, A&M and Titans. These are about 4 feet in diameter. PLan to hang on the wall over my big screen in the garage.
If anyone wants one of your own whether it is a yard sign or hang in your garage, let me know. He's pretty damn good. Right now he is a maintenance manager for a car manufacturing plant. He wants to do shit like this full time.

He's a good bud of mine so I am paying less than he would charge normal customers. I'm paying $70/sign. I requested 4 foot diameter signs. Normally, when he does yard signs, he does them about 2 foot diameter. Just depends on what you want. I would guess for anyone here, depending on how many colors he has to buy paint for, the same 4 foot signs would be around $100 +S&H, but I'd have to check with him. 2 foot yard signs cheaper. It's all in what you want.

Definately peaked my intrest. Could you inquire about a 2 ft. FSU helmet, to include tomahawks? what about shipping.
I would have thought your cave would be adorned with deer heads, oh wait, I was thinking of Matty. Never mind.

Is there really even an FSU helmet with tomahawks? This is the only FSU helmet ever that had a tomahawk back in 1962.

Nolesy is talking about the tomahawk stickers that are awarded to the players throughout the year. See my logo ------------->
Nolesy the fatheads are huge, if you are just looking for a two footer go indy's route. Here are some stickers if you have a replica FSU helmet...

nolesy,
$50 + shipping for a 2 foot helmet. I would guess shipping will be anywhere from $12-$17 based upon what shipping my BBQ sauce costs.

I wouldn't buy a damn thing from a guy who associates with a racist, so I'd suggest Nolesy go the Fathead route.

Jon, If you are serious about my boy being racist let me point something out to you. over 8,000 post alone on this board. Sure he may have mis stepped once a few years ago but he remains a well respected poster on this board as well as preciding boards. Can you say the same about your self?

Heh, if I gave two shits about whether someone on here thinks I am racist or not, I would have been run by Shaz 8 years ago when he called me a racist for using the term "coloreds". Can't even remember in what context it was in. In any case, it was more ignorance on my part. 8 years ago at age 25, not being a kid who grew up around blatant racism, I didn't know the term "coloreds" was basically equivalent to the N-bomb, a term I've never used on these boards. Not that I shun those who do because it's just a fucking word...

Back in Nam.. there's an ethnic group called the Coloureds and another called the Basters [as in bastards], the name depending on which white doods banged which black women. My gf was halfsies, so she was constantly asked if she was "coloured," which fine, she was used to it, but it was funny to watch her Black Panther of a father adjust to when he came for a visit.

Frisco,
Nice start on the man-cave garage. I like the helmets, big screen, and paradigm surround speakers. But, for the love of God...paint that OSB sheathing white and you will be amazed at the difference in lighting and how it finishes things out. Ditch the rug and install fieldturf with an A&M logo in the center and some hash marks.! Where's the fuggin keg-aerator fridge?

H4E,
Worry not, the keg-o-rator is in the garage. It's a 4 car garage. It's just not in the picture.
As for the paint, yeah, in hindsight, I really wish I would have painted it white before I put all my shit in there when we moved in in August. As you can see, it would be a heck of an undertaking now.

That's funny, you can always tell new money from old.
New money:
vending machines dispensing beer out back
giveaway sport photo from case of beer framed
urinal instead of bidet in toilet
garage
golf
Old Money:
dark wainscoting
oil paintings
cooking sherry
smoking room
foxhunting

You got some gear in there alright. Maybe just paint the exposed areas of sheathing and then move stuff around here and there... wknd by wknd....and pretty soon you'll have it whipped without wasting a whole week of vacation. I'll go ahead and second the rack for little Frisco! You got a big enough yard there, throw in a green somewhere!
