I love Sarah Palin. I think she needs to run for Senator first...and then after a couple terms she would be the front runner for President of the United States....if it is still around after Obongo.

1. Drag the RNC behind a pickup truck for selecting old McCain as their candidate.

2. Drag McCain's "strategists" behind a garbage truck for their deft political manuevering that Onogga would've paid to have done. They way they controlled Palin was criminal.

3. Palin will get a stong run in the next primary, but the job will be Romney's to lose. Nobody will care that he's a Mormon after having a black socialist as prez.

I am a big fan of Palin, but she has zero chance in 2012. Mitt Romney is the guy for the GOP. She will be a very good Senator at best.

The idea of this demented idiot running for any office is an insult to the American people. No further office, period.

She's on her 14th minute.

The GOP is the personal fiefdom of the Bush family, so the Republican nomination is Jebby's, if he wants it.

Not any more, it isn't. Distancing themselves from Bush is just about Job One now for the GOP.

Don't overlook Bobby Jindal. Only question is will he wait until 2016 or throw his hat in the ring for 2012? Depends on Obama's results between now and then, I suppose. Either way, that dude is coming strong in the future.

My guess is her resignation will precede some show-stopping announcement about her personal life, such as:

a) She's getting divorced
b) She's coming out as a carpet muncher
c) She can make more bank by being featured on hotmilfs.com

Why do libtards hate this woman so much? Are they THAT threatened by her decency? The homos must feel really insecure over her sureness which may explain why they dig and dig to try to bring her down to their level. Never in the history of America has there been so much obsession and negative prying over a fukken VP hopeful who LOST than with Palin. Anything to take away from the gripping reality that their Messiah is doing nothing, I guess.

It's said that one shouldn't leave their job until they have a new one already lined up. I think the same is true in politics. It's already a knock on her that she doesn't have much experience, and she's already leaving the one job that gives her exactly that. Not to mention that it looks better to have a job title next to your name on a ballot.

I have to agree with Smackie. She's going to anounce some "family crisis" & ask that the media respect the famly's privacy while in reality she and her husband work out a divorce.

What was Jessie Jackson's job title when he ran for POTUS?

What was Obama's, when he ran for political office?

Clearly, being governor of Alaska was never going to amount to enough experience for Palin, not to her detractors.

Fair enough. But I think the (D) next to his name had as much more to do with his being elected than his experience.
Clearly, being governor of Alaska was never going to amount to enough experience for Palin, not to her detractors.
Detractors, probably not. But those middle-of-the-road voters might have given her a lot more credit for it if she had stuck it out. She signed on for the job, so why didn't she finish it out?

I've heard some rumblings that the Palins are in deep shit with the IRS. That would be rich, considering all the crap the conservatives have been flinging about dems not paying their taxes.

Diego, as far as I'm concerned, I've had it....

In the next election you and Mikey can run as the liberal Democratic ticket.

Dio and pop can be the conservative Republicans.

Dins and mvscal can be the third party option, the Constitutional Libertarians.

The rest of us? We'll watch Ana finger paint, until football season begins.

I'll believe that when I see it. Jeb will be the GOP Presidential nominee at least once in the next two Presidential election cycles.

Btw, if Mitt the Twit is the best the Republicans can do, we might as well start making plans now for Obama's inauguration in 2013, and beat the rush. Jeb at least would turn out the Republican base.

Sorry Terry...the Bush name is just too toxic these days to give Jeb a legitimate shot (even as much as I would like to see the republicans be so stupid to nominate him or the moose shooter).

Yep, the GOP did everything they could to publicly distance themselves from Bush. Like mvscal said, it was in name only, but the name is what Jeb carries, and that name will prevent him from even getting a sniff, for a good, long time.

If Obama runs us into the ground then the GOP will find a way to trot out someone like Colin Powell.

Mitt only has a prayer if the country is totally in the tank. Basically, Obama vs Bush, in reverse, where the person opposing the incumbent simply has to look pretty and be able to walk and chew gum to win.

Even then, the GOP wouldn't turn to another Bush.

Terry, Colin Powell could easily become the GOP's fair haired boy again, with a single speech. If the PTP decide Powell could get them back into the Oval Office then they'll gladly rim the guy until the cows come home.

Hell, look who's Obama's SecState. Anything's possible, when it becomes politically expedient.
