The top 2 high school quarterbacks in the country going at it in Hawaii.

"Why would you go to Cal?" Phillip Sims, who committed to Alabama, asked Austin Hinder. "You know you're only playing for second place. It's USC and everyone else in the Pac 10. That's a weak conference."

"Are you serious? The Pac-10 went 5-0 in bowl games this season," Hinder shot back. "You guys lost to Utah!"
"This is how Washington is going down the next three of four years," said Hinder, dropping back to pass in a drill against Nate Montana, who simply laughed and said, "Let's go."

"Whatever," said Sims. "You guys are going to be playing for second place behind USC."

"Yeah, and you guys can't even beat Utah," said Hinder. "I wish we could start playing right now."

"Me, too," Sims said. "Me, too."

On a side-note... another monster running back coming out of the San Francisco bay area.

He may not be "Jet Blue", but at 5' 11" and 260 lbs. he is quite the load.

No you "weren't".

This is a decidedly weak year for QB's, as there isn't a 5 star in the bunch.

It's apparent.... I can't get anything by you.

There's NO WAY that my attempt at being facetious could EVER get by on you...

I'm sure you were being facetious when you went with the old bait and switch tactic after you started coughing up splinters in that thread.

pretty much all-time weak 3rd party smack. "some other team beat yer team, woo! smoke!". BFD.

note to Hinder: would you rather lose to Utah in the Sugar Bowl or to Maryland (at team that lost to Middle Tennessee) and close out the season in the Emerald Vending Machine Nuts Bowl against a 6 loss team?

Shut up dude. Cal had to travel thousands of miles and play in a different time zone when they faced Maryland. The game was scheduled 5 minutes before they left and so Tedford had no chance to prepare for the time zone change beforehand. The game wasn't on the schedule before the season.
