Ben Rapistberger????

Say it ain't so Big Ben, say it ain't so!
That's not necessarily true. The victim may not want to go through the hassle of the criminal trial. Who knows what happens. All I know is this story is about to explode. Why hasn't ESPN jumped all over this yet? Is it because Ben is white???BSmack wrote:If he's guilty I hope he rots in hell.
That being said, the fact that a civil suit was filed before a criminal complaint should be telling.
My guess is that ESPN hasn't jumped on the story for the same reason the NFL network hasn't. They're both dependent on the good graces of Rodger Goodell .TheJON wrote:That's not necessarily true. I seriously believe that these are the only colors that matter to ESPN.TheJON wrote:It definitely is suspicious, but I do wonder if Ben was a black QB would ESPN be all over this by now?
"Uh oh, a negro raped a chick........better get John Clayton on the story STAT!"

Don't forget these too.....BSmack wrote:I seriously believe that these are the only colors that matter to ESPN.TheJON wrote:It definitely is suspicious, but I do wonder if Ben was a black QB would ESPN be all over this by now?

A scorned wife had enough self control to pull such an awesome troll job? Rack her.BSmack wrote:Turns out the Andrea McNulty is a full blown Section 8 case who was institutionalized after the wife of a dude she was boinking paid her back by creating an imaginary email account posing as a soldier in Iraq and engaged email correspondence that reached the point of McNulty believing she and her imaginary lover were engaged. When the imaginary G.I. Joe stopped emailing her, she checked herself into a Reno hospital with "major depression and anxiety".
This won't go well for her.
Holy shit, that is one of the cruelest things you could ever do to an insane chick! But rack that dude's wife!! Hilarious!!!BSmack wrote:Turns out the Andrea McNulty is a full blown Section 8 case who was institutionalized after the wife of a dude she was boinking paid her back by creating an imaginary email account posing as a soldier in Iraq and engaged email correspondence that reached the point of McNulty believing she and her imaginary lover were engaged. Yes, indeed. Best troll job EVER!A scorned wife had enough self control to pull such an awesome troll job? Rack her.

What lost wages would he have? He wouldn't miss any games for this. They never do.A court battle would probably be a long drawn out affair. Big Ben makes an awful lot of salary. It's in his better interest to pony up $0.5 - 1.0 mil and move on, rather than losing wages.
Buck teeth and her nose and mouth are both too large. She's bangable in a Dinsdale-at-last-call kinda way, but that's about it.
Easy not guilty if ever a criminal case.KC Scott wrote:More detail here: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20 ... lisberger/
She seems to have put together a pretty plausible story - except for the part where she didn't call police
That's not that far fetched if she is indeed a nutcase.......BSmack wrote:This is getting even weirder. According to the complaint served on Roethlisberger, McNulty is claiming that she "did not report the alleged assault to authorities because she thought her supervisors and hotel security would take care of the matter." Furthermore, she blames her supervisors for not maintaining the integrity of the scene or evidenced contained therein?

In her own complaint she admits that there is no physical evidence. Which means her entire case needs to be supported by the veracity of her testimony and that of any witnesses she might call. Which means the fact that she appears to be batshit crazy undermines her credibility big time.TheJON wrote:Again, I'm not calling Big Ben guilty. But I don't think that just because this story seems crazy means it's not true.
ESPN could post that the Steelers were being sold to Art Modell and I would hear about it second hand. I don't read ESPN for sports news anymore than I read Fox's web page for political insight. Therefore, I'm not worried.jiminphilly wrote:How troubling that ESPN has yet to post a single story regarding this on their website even though the NFL's own website is reporting the civil suit and Goodell has said the NFL will investigate.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with Ben's involvment in Shaq's new tv show set to debut soon.
Considering you and I are in the minority in terms of where we get our sports news, it should be troubling to you. Regardless of their presentation style, ESPN is THE major sports outlet for most people and when a major media outlet is ignoring a significant story because of conflict of interest , maybe it's time their press credentials are pulled..BSmack wrote:ESPN could post that the Steelers were being sold to Art Modell and I would hear about it second hand. Actually, Yahoo sports is the most visited sports news site.jiminphilly wrote:Considering you and I are in the minority in terms of where we get our sports news, it should be troubling to you. Yeah cuz that 20 year old skank that McNair was nailing was just oh so hot.R-Jack wrote:Other than an NFL player fucking the TV repairman.
