maybe. Patterson's teams are long on D and sort of iffy on O. if they win at UVa and Clemson, it's on.

they were one of the most athletic teams OU played last year. they have some freaks on D. guys can play.

I think one or two of those road games hurt them.

That's a pretty safe pick there. They have a fairly easy schedule if they can get by Oregon on 9/3.

I am going to say Georgia Tech. Some will say they aren't a Cinderella because they play in a BCS conference. I would argue that they would be more of a Cinderella than say a Boise State who has been there for the past few years playing one or two games a season.

Paul Johnson can coach. Dude won at Navy and gave tons of teams fits last year. Ask Georgia what they think of Johnson.

Three games will tell us how far Georgia Tech will go. At Florida State, Virginia Tech and Georgia. Winning two of three should put them in the ACC title game (yes I know Georgia is in the SEC).

I agree Johnson is a great coach but I do have questions on whether he can consistently recruit with that system in a BCS conference. And also, I question if his system can consistently win in a BCS conference even with talent. We'll see. But there's no question he's a great football coach.

Got to say the few of us who posted in this one were pretty spot on.

I would have said TCU coming in but I wasn't posting as much because Mtool had made this place pretty well unreadable when this thread was going on. Should he return with the same antics I will oncve again take a sabbatical from posting.
