Wagoneer, I'm glad you're concerned for the Kurds Saddam gassed--but please keep in mind that these same Kurds made the very same belligerent demands of an independent homeland following the very clumsy end of WWI--and Winston Churchill ordered them to be gassed from airplanes--good ol' mustard gas, not the modern shit. But the hypocrisy is plain as day. Saddam was simply maintaining the exact national stability that had been designed (with astonishing ignorance) by Churchill himself.
