Holy shit.
The record for a year where I live was in 1996, coming in at 72", which CRUSHED the old record.
I know those huge precip numbers hit coastal areas, which drain water much faster than hilly inland areas, but still...
Holy shit.
There's only been a handful of 3"+ days here since they started keeping track (BTW-I recently read that "rainy" Portland ranks 36th amongst major cities in annual rainfall -- so much for that myth)...
Fuggin 80" in 2 days. That's a storm, right there.
