You do know who you're dealing with.... dawgman (Washington) who runs Scout.com and his hatred of anything CAL.

If a player is 4 or 5 star.... once they commit to CAL they instantly become a 2 or 3 star.

Tell me you knew...

He's right, Van.

The only rankings you can trust are those as bearinsider.com. There, any 2 or 3 star who signs with Kal instantly become 5 stars. THAT'S what you can trust.

i'd like to see documentation of one Cal player that goes from 4 stars to 2, or 5 to 3.

much like the whole Cal team has a 3.4 or better GPA....I suspect it's easily disproved BS.

It is true that these recruiting services do rank players sometimes based on who recruits them or where they commit.

Take Iowa State's QB Austen Arnaud as an example.

Going into his senior season, both Rivals and Scout had him as a 4-star recruit. The schools recruiting him were Iowa, ISU, and a few other Big-10 and Big-12 schools. Arnaud improved a lot his senior year and put up big numbers. Then he committed to ISU. He dropped to a 2 or 3 star after that. Austen is a very good QB for Iowa State right now. Had he committed to a better program I am guessing he would have been a 4-star recruit.

If you commit to a lower program (such as Cal), your stock can drop. Not always, but at times it will. Not defending m2 here, just saying it does happen.

"Son, bring your playbook. Oh, and you won't be needing that scholarship any longer either. Thanks for nothing. Have fun in prison."

While $C has very slightly passed Cal in the Average Star Ratings.... Cal is still 4th in the country.

Like I've said... Cal has a few silent commits....

Here's one of them... and he mentions another (Gabe King) in this video.

Like I said... it's just keeps on keeping on.

Pssst... Vannie, let me clue you in on that video.

It was a "high school" All-Star Game. Being that you NEVER played football and I played in the Northern California All-Star game (they didn't have a state All-Star game back then). You end up hanging out with other players you've read and heard about and they feel as much. Its not a serious game and is more like two weeks of spring break. It's basically a party for two weeks and you try to show up each other other on the field. In a fun way... like my balls are bigger than yours.

Tell me you knew... ?

Sometimes I think you take things too seriously, Vannie.

You're too much of a fag, and too much of a fucking pussy to ever have done as such.
Not true. He was the kicker. He still got to shower in the same lockerroom with all those naked and sweaty guys he loves to fantasize about.

CAL/Berkeley is just a tad more interesting than Iowa or southern Alabama...

That may be true, but it sure the fuck isn't because of Green Day, you big fag.

Tell us again why a supposedly grown man still has the musical tastes of a twelve year old girl?

Dude, the California Shriners North Vs South game went on from the 1960s until about 1998 when they switched it to the CaliFlorida Bowl. Just how old are you?

Green Day is from Santa Rosa, just a few counties NORTH of the Bay area. I guess that would be like an LA resident claiming Blink 182 even though theyre from San Diego

All kidding aside.......

If m2 is over the age of 20, I really do feel bad for the guy. Something at some point in his life must have gone very wrong for him to be the way he is if he is indeed over the age of 20.
