Yes we have all seen the downright dumb names of minorities over the years. But now that is no longer confined to minorities. With school starting again I have heard friends telling me of the dumb names of their kids classmates.

Some of my favorite dumbass names:

Tequila - Pronounced (Ta - quill - a) She got all upset when everyone pronounced her name like the mexican spirit it is.

La'Rhondaniqqua - Orgin please, oh, wait there isn't one.

Dunta - Pronounced ( Don - tae) Again, it is all your fault when no one can pronouce it.

Shaylynn - I know you want your kid to be unique, but you can't make it happen via name.

Jesus - Really?

Derrron - Just makes one wonder if you misspelled his name at the hospital.

Dylyn - On their way to being the next 40 year old virgin.

Speaking of the name Hunter, there was a kid that played football at Baylor close to the time I was at RICE that was named Hunter Hunter.

The best one I've ever heard is still Female (pronounced Fuh-MAH-lee). Not making this up.

Student a few years back with the name Naijah. I thought it was pronounced NYE-JUH but she corrected me.

Her: It's NAH-JUH.

Don't forget the tards that name their kid Espn. Shavlik Randolph has quite a name. I got a friend named Dala. Not too weird but she's only one I've ever met with that name. Even worse are parents who name their boys Kelly, Stacey, or Shannon. What irritates me most is I wish we made laws that there will only be one way to spell a certain name. I know a ton of guys named Sean, Shawn or Shaun and drives me nuts. Let's just settle with Sean. I know a guy named Ehrren (Aaron). His parents are d-bags.

Never really was the domain of minorities, was it? I didn't encounter stupid names when meeting blacks who immigrated from Africa. And Id din't encounter stupid names among the various other hyphenated Americans. Rather, it seems I encounter stupid names when I meet white social/cultural elitists (read, white progressive libs), Hollywood celebretards, and urban blacks whose parents were born here in the US and grew up in the urban public schools.

My buddy Deon (actually his middle name, but the one he uses over his too-common first name) was on a business trip in Richmond, VA. After getting there in the evening, he, of course, headed to the hotel bar. Being the friendly sort he is, he decided to introduce himself to the black girl who was bartending, explaining "since I'm going to be in here a lot over the next coule of weeks..."

Deon: Hi, my name is Deon.

Bartender: No, it's not.

Deon: No, really -- it is.

Bartender: You're messing with me -- I ain't never met a white boy named Deon before.

Deon: Well, that's really my name. And you are?

Bartender: I'm LaQuisha, nice to meet you.

Apparently, Deon and LaQuisha became thick as theives by the time he left.

She starts out normal on kid 1: Edward

kid 2: Natawnee (then the prozac started) edit: Natawnee DaNae (middle name)

kid 3: Kierya (adds abilify to her regimen)

kid 4: Elijah ( I think her meds finally started working)
