He had a nice rookie season but he's been messed up ever since he took the line drive in the face.

He still had a high walk/strikeout ratio before he took that line drive. Hes serviable coming out of the pen,but he isnt a starter.

Phillips is no Lo Duca though. How soon until the hot prospect from the Yankees gets a chance to catch for the Dodgers?

Explain por favor? Ishi was Rick Ankiel without actually hitting someone. dude was all over the place with his pitches. He got demoted to the pen last season(2 years too late if you ask me). His getting drilled by the the line drive had nothing to do with it,he has always been a so-so pitcher. He's the Mets problem now.

Dude's never had a losing season with LA.

2002 14-10
2003 9-7
2004 13-8

3 yr span: 36-25

Dude wasn't horrible. But he was better than a backup catcher.

Another great trade by LA. Props.

Dumping of salary maybe.

Let's see, who have they shitcanned since they were rolling in 2004? G. Mota, P. LoDuca, S. Green, now K. Ishii. They let Beltre walk in free agency, signing for a little more then they signed JD Drew for. That one made zero sense to me. But props, they got who you wanted. They also let Herpes walk too, he was the only guy to win a playoff game for them in 2004.

Hmm, did I miss anyone?

Yup,you'll be missin Balco Bonds. His pussy is hurt so he might not play this year.

The Dodgers made some head scratching moves this off season, letting Ishi go wasn't one of them. Hes at best a 5th starter, and last year got demoted to the bullpen. Hopefully the dodgers are intending to finally give Edwin Jackson a real shot in the rotation this season, the kids got a good arm,he just needs to stay healthy.

We've lost one player for one month.

You've lost 6 players from your roster.

He's not going to be out for a year, barring anything unforseen.

I've heard as early as May 1st to sometime in mid-July.

So probably he'll be back in the batter's box between May & June. So don't get too happy yet. 8)

That's the beauty of spring training.

Every team's fans still believe in miracles.

We'll see who's in the playoffs come October. Bonds or no Bonds.

sig bet says the Gnats dont make the playoffs. And I won't state the dodgers will because thats foolish. Simple bet,the Giants will not win the division,or even get a wild card. You in?

Having Balco Bonds hurt actually helped the Giant defensively, how great is it going to see all those doubles and triples on that old ass outfield. When Moistes comes up to bat you won't recognize if it's him or his pops, there about the same age by now! Have Moistes piss on Barry's knee it seems to work for his hands! Thank god for the Cubs cause the midgets would be the next Bo Sox!

Fucking Giants had the 2nd best run scoring team last year and it got you second place! No more roids means the end of Barry, just watch how his body is going to break down. That knee problem is just the beginning of the end!

GAME OVER!

Guess I better take that back. He looked like Sandy Koufax out there on his first start for the Mets.
