They were kinda my "can't miss" game in the Pick'Em...

So, I do my Pick 'Em picks. The way I do 'em is I just go through the list, and I make all the picks I like. When I'm done, sometimes I have fewer than the minimum ten picks. That's what happened last week. I had seven picks, and I had to scramble to find three more.

Other times, like this week, I ended up with too many. I had fourteen. I had to start pruning.

Which ones should I keep? Which ones should I ditch?

Three of the four I ditched ended up being winners: UCLA, Fresno St and Florida. Stanford was the one I ditched who went on to lose.

The ones I kept were ND and N. Carolina.

How would you like to have picked Texas the first two weeks? Last week they were -40 1/2, IIRC, and they won by 39. This week they were -33 1/2, and they won by 31.

I do the exact same thing and the same thing happened to me this week. I ended up pruning that FLA game and KAN..keeping MSU and NCU. Pretty rough start to the year.

i'm already in the maybe if i post the opposite of my real picks i might get lucky and win a week and make the post-season.

a few years ago i lost the hoops pick'em to shoalzie on an OT game in the last week....i've never been the same.
