Yeah, they've got a pretty sweet team. Let's see here.......

OT win by a FG over one of the worst teams in the country.

Follow that up with an epic 3-3 battle through 3 quarters and then recover a fumble for a TD to finally take the lead in the 4th quarter over a really bad Air Force team.

Has Minnesota finished above .500 in the Big-10 in the last 20 years??? I'm too lazy to look it up...........m2, help me out queerbait.

Hayden Fox was named after Hayden Fry. I'm still pissed we lost to them in the Pineapple Bowl! It was fucking bullshit. Refs were paid off by Coach!

JON, what is it about Tim Brewster that suggests to you he's such a horrible coach? He's got such a short track record, there's almost nothing to base that off of. 1-11 to 7-6 is a pretty damn solid turnaround, especially at Minnesota.

Brewster has ties to the state of Colorado and the people i know who follow CO high school ball think pretty highly of him, FWIW.

I can think of about 8,000 reasons why he will NEVER win. He is Ron Zook.

Yeah, they went 7-6 last year........but they started 7-1. His team quit on him last year.

He makes absolutely horrible game management decisions. These aren't "I'm an inexperienced head coach, I will learn from my mistakes" bad decisions. These are "I'm just flat out fucking dumb" decisions. What the fuck was he doing trying to drive 90 yards with less than a minute in a tie game AT HOME with no timeouts against Northwestern? Why not just fucking go to OT? Weber throws a pick-6.......game over. Dumb decisions.

Have you listened to him speak? He's a fucking idiot. Have you heard his pre and post game pep talks? Good god, how can you get fired up to play for this retard? He just rambles.

He's in year 3 now and it doesn't look like his team has made any strides. They're terrible. They are getting progressively worse, despite being more experienced. Like I said, he is Ron Zook.

Dude would have never gotten a head coaching gig if he didn't act like a clown. ISU was NEVER even interested in speaking with him, but the fucking clown set up a press conference when he was in Denver coaching TE's for the Donkey's to discuss the job. This was an act because he was a coach going nowhere, but wanted to be a head coach somewhere. Nobody knew about him because he was a mediocre coach and so he tried to do something to get his name out there. People here started reporting he might be the next ISU coach, only to find out they never even contacted him! So that's how he became known and Minnesota, being the fucking idiots that they are, decided to hire this clown. Had he not tipped off the reporters in Denver about allegedly being a candidate at ISU, neither of us would even know who the hell this guy is.

He's a clown. He's a moron. He can recruit pretty well much like Zook but, in the end, he will never win jack shit because he can't coach and he's a mental trainwreck. There's too many good coaches in the Big-10 for a guy like that to ever compete in this league. Ferentz, Dantonio, Tressel, Rodriguez, Fitzgerald, Bielema, Paterno.........how is a tard like this ever going to beat these guys???

High school football is where he belongs. Real football is above him.

to be honest, Colorado high school sports are pretty weak in my experience here (of course, i've learned not to say that too often) versus Oklahoma, Tennessee, or when my uncle coached in Texas--only using those as an example since that's all i've experienced first-hand. there are very few D-1 players even per capita. and they mostly leave the state to USC or OU or UT. though, to give Dan some credit, he's had the best player in the state stay home the last 3 years. beating ND, OU, and UF for the kids who must be re-thinking that one.

Bo Scaife, Lendale White come to mind in the last decade with OU getting Zach Latimer (LB), Jon Cooper (OL), and Andre Woolfolk(db/wr). USC always seems to pull a big blue chip OL about every 2-3 years. the Hinder QB from Steamboat is going to Cal because his family bought him the internets.

Oh, okay. I thought maybe you were going to have a problem with the quotes, or maybe you wanted it spelled like a Minnesota local might say it, as in oot.

You're going to have a sign that says, "...where i vannie?"

Wtf??

As my shit gets packed
I'm ready to go
Several large men in my backdoor
They hate to pull it out -- it makes me cry

But the game's a startin
It's early morn
At least it is in some time zone
Already I'm so lonesome
So I cry

So dis me and laugh at me
Tell me bout that West Coast speed
Scold me like those homos that I blow

Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
Getting that "Jet Blue Lag" again
All of Castro hates to see me go
