Soda tax...and fat americans.

Post by Moby Dick »

holy fuck, scientists finally put 2 and 2 together and have discovered.....drinking soda makes people FAT.

no shit? :meds:

looks like San Fransisco (sup tool?) and soon to be all of Cali is joining Arkansas and West Virginia will be putting a tax on soda pop.

1 cent per ounce of sugar taxed.

I'd like to say fuck the tax, let the fatties eat and drink themselves into oblivion but then you have the eyesores and asscracks you have to deal with in the public, but then you have fuckin' medical bills and shit that the rest of america has to pay for.

YES!!!!

MORE GOVERNMENT!!!!

WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!

This country will be a better place once Big Brother tells us what we can eat and drink.

And who isn't down with this? A sugar-tax? Brilliant.

Let's do some math (although I fear the Black Helicopters, since doing math in regards to Big Brother is strictly forbidden) --

MD's post says $0.01 tax per ounce of sugar.

I can buy sugar at the store for roughly $0.03 per ounce.

Someone is actually proposing a 33% tax on sugar, but only if it's sold in certain forms?

And sheeple actually go for this?

But no -- by all means, keep pushing for this (radically unconstitutional) "national health care" thing, and just watch what it will be used as justification for.
I got 99 problems but the 'vid ain't one
