That scoreboard in a 50,000 seat stadium looks pretty ridiculous.

m2's opportunity to finally win a road game, albeit against a meh Big 10 team...
-Minny's unis are fuggen awful! Hate the USFL stripes on the pants, and solid gold urine jerseys will never work. These guys look like CalTrans workers.
-For all the hype about Minny's new on-campus stadium, and the enormity of this game for their program, okay, why isn't it even close to being a sellout?? This is a brand new stadium, and it's not even close to being full. This doesn't even look close to The Horsehoe, in any way. There's no electric feel in this stadium.
Oh, and Cal just marched down the field on their opening drive, like it was a scrimmage. Jahvid burns 'em for the last thirty or so for a slick TD run.
Game over.

The game is a sellout. In fact they've sold out every home game this year. People tailgate hardcore out there and file in a little bit late.

Well, they have whole sections of the stadium which are still empty. If those guys can't even be bothered to quit becoming fat, not even for the game itself, well...not impressed.

Minny has no clue what to do defensively against these athletes.
Perfect pass, btw.
Jahvid probably won't play much in the second half.

i can hear the winds-chiming.
funny thing is that Cal will get better (in terms of national rank) as bad as Minny gets (in terms of getting bent over).
probably the best W for a traveling team ever playing at 3 AM their time:
queue Matchbox 20 vid.

JON might be right about Tim Brewster. This is fucking pathetic, all this moving backwards.

Minny had to come up with that ball. That was their opportunity to make a play and get back into this.
Fail.

Jesus, Riley, what was that?? You weren't even in the same area code as your wide open receiver.

ooof, did you see that special teams tackling. Cal invented special teams while curing cancer, thinking about Heidegger on technology, and discovering new alien intelligences and the global economies. kid is writing it down on the sidelines....before he goes back in.

If Minny's all-gold urine unis weren't bad enough already, wooo, those Charlie Brown lookin' two-tone, yellow zig-zag stripes within the brighter yellow areas are particularly vomitous.

Helluva catch, helluva hit. He looked short of the goal there, but there were no camera angles to show he didn't get in. Not sure why they called it a TD in the first place. He looked like he was shy of the goal, and he was knocked out diagonally before he reached the goal.
All the blood streaming down his neck, that was a cool touch.

Jesus, S_M, no.
You, on other hand, are whining about Kiffin's wife's perfectly fine breasts, so take a look in the mirror and STFU.

your standard Big 10 narrative used to be....as the game goes on, the physicality starts to slow things down and take over....

Well, that, and they're my conference enemy, and they "stole" our OC, and even had the gall to try and steal our uniform-look (there can be only one).
So, in short -- I hate the fucking faggots.
And last time we played Cal at home, I was slightly shocked by what a bunch of unsocial, stuck-up assholes their fans were. Worst bunch I've ever seen. Hell, Husky Fans are cooler than that, once we get dome beating each other up anyways.
Have I ever mentioned that I know Kevin Riley's dad (not well).
