Vick is also back from suspension and figures to be used for 10-15 plays.

Gee, thanks. I am pretty sure I was referring to whether or not Kolb or Vick would be starting. Peter King told the world Sunday night that McNabb was sitting again in Week 3 and Vick would likely be limited to 10 plays. This has been confirmed throughout the week by numerous sources.

Vick had no shot at starting this week. Everyone and their mother knew this.. well except for you. Andy Reid has already said Kolb is the backup to McNabb, not Vick. The line wasn't delayed pending whether the Eagles would name Vick or Kolb the starter.. that was determined a long time ago.

Vick seemed surprised by it. And yeah... I was really confused here:

Vick said he is suprised that he is NOT STARTING FOR ANY TEAM at this point. He wasn't talking about this week under the current injury situation to McNabb. If you weren't confused than why say this
I am pretty sure I was referring to whether or not Kolb or Vick would be starting.
If Any Reid said on Tuesday that Kolb would start if McNabb couldn't go than either you were confused or you're just talking shit about why the line was delayed. Either way you've proven you have no idea what you're talking about.

Fact. As of this morning, NONE of the other 6 sportsbooks from my link have released odds on the game. Just the original 2 that were listed.
Fact. The opening line has decreased. Most of the money actually being wagered is on the dog; KC.

To me, this means there’s still a lot of speculation as to the Phillie QB situation. Again, I am not talking about me. I have never said anything but Kolb.

Do you understand the difference?

Did you happen to check the injury report by chance?

Let's start with the QB situation:

Kolb Is Still the Man for the Eagles if McNabb Can't Play
Tuesday, September 22, 2009

Philadelphia Eagles Coach Andy Reid reiterated Monday what he'd indicated following Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints: Kevin Kolb will remain the team's starter at quarterback this weekend if Donovan McNabb again is unable to play because of a fractured rib.

Kolb made his first NFL start Sunday with McNabb on the Eagles' inactive list. Kolb threw for 391 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw three interceptions in the mistake-marred, 48-22 loss to the Saints.

Reid said at a news conference Monday that McNabb is making progress but isn't ready to participate in contact drills.

Reid said he'll see how Michael Vick does in practice this week before determining his role in Sunday's game against Kansas City at Lincoln Financial Field. Vick is eligible to play in the game under the terms of his reinstatement by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

The Eagles also have veteran quarterback Jeff Garcia, who was Kolb's backup against the Saints but didn't play.

The Eagles will continue to evaluate the sprained ankle suffered by tailback Brian Westbrook and the strained groin muscle suffered by wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
That last sentence is very important because according the the NFL Injury Report
Name Position Injury Practice Status Game Status

PHI
Donovan McNabb QB Rib Did Not Participate In Practice --
DeSean Jackson WR Groin Did Not Participate In Practice --
Brian Westbrook RB Ankle Did Not Participate In Practice --

Victor Abiamiri DE Groin Full Participation in Practice --
Omar Gaither LB Neck Full Participation in Practice --
Max Jean-Gilles G Knee Full Participation in Practice --
Winston Justice T Hamstring Full Participation in Practice --
Joe Mays LB Shoulder Full Participation in Practice --
Asante Samuel CB Neck Full Participation in Practice --
Kevin Curtis WR Knee Limited Participation in Practice --
Quintin Demps S Hamstring Limited Participation in Practice --
Todd Herremans G Foot Out (Definitely Will Not Play) --
Dimitri Patterson CB Hand Out (Definitely Will Not Play) --

Think THAT might have something to do with all of this???

Isn't Jackson listed as probable?

Westbrook -- long history of being listed as questionable, not practicing for much of the week, and playing on Sundays.

Next?

Combined with Jackson's status it becomes a bigger issue.

Seriously. Just eject now.

According to your link, McNabb is only questionable as well. :? Meanwhile, I'd be willing to bet both Jackson and Wesbrook play, while McNabb does not.

Let me break this down for you Skippy... the Eagles will put up 35+ points assuming Vick doesn't turn the ball over during his time on the field.

Kolb throws for 300+ yards regardless of whom he's throwing to.

From CBSSPORTSLINE:

September 24 2:44 Special teams coach Ted Daisher said that even though WR DeSean Jackson (strained groin) is expected to play Sunday, he might not return punts. Rookie WR Jeremy Maclin would replace him.

September 23 1:01

RB Brian Westbrook (sprained ankle) and WR DeSean Jackson (strained groin) won't practice today, but coach Andy Reid expects both to play Sunday vs. Kansas City.

Now follow along because I know this gets difficult.
If on a TUESDAY Andy Reid says Kevin Kolb (not Mike Vick) will be the starter if McNabb can't play .. why would the lines be delayed in getting released because as you said on a WEDNESDAY

You then felt the need to clarify the Eagle QB issue you were referring to by saying
I am pretty sure I was referring to whether or not Kolb or Vick would be starting.
... Andy Reid already took care of that little nugget of info on Tuesday. So now that you've eliminated the obvious what else could be impacting the delay in releasing the line. The 2 injury updates you posted were from Wednesday (Westbrook) and Thursday (Jackson).

Still think Mike Vick has ANYTHING to do with this discussion?

LOL, She gets to the lake on Friday night and doesn’t get home until after the games start on Sunday. When we ran across her this morning on the docks I asked why she didn’t get her picks in, she assured me that she did.
We’ll give her a break, this is the first message board she has ever spent any time on…plus she looks hot in a bikini.
