two straight fumbles and turnovers. real masterpiece of a game.

wish the Va Tech-Miami game was on here.

UO looks like the better team so far...even against the GTE and Jet Blue.

If you try 100 times, you'll get a win once or twice.

The U&L knows this - look at Dins - he does a lot of asking, but he never goes to the parking lot alone.

Shut the fuck up you Midwestern hicks. Psssttt......Oregon is on a different time zone than Maryland and Tedford has been preparing them to play on East Coast time since Cal will be playing in the Super Bowl. By the way, which one of you is going to start the m2 excuse thread??? Don't let me down.

the first college game i ever attended was Oklahoma vs. Oregon in Norman. the Ducks wore something like those unis. Oklahoma had Joe Washington and it wasn't close. 74 or 75, both OU NC years, back to back.

75, 62-7 Oklahoma. OU threw the ball 8 times and rushed for 544. Mos Def a "hang half a hundered" on them and go home game for OU.

Nice knowing you m2. So which one of you is going to create a new m2 troll to keep his memory alive on this board since I'm guessing we will never be hearing from him again?

You're getting hosed in Big XII country too, eh? I at least understand why it's not on here, but I'd be doubly pissed if I was outside of Pac 10 country and still subjected to this game over #9 v. #11.

Although so far, we're actually getting the more competitive game, at least. Who knew Miami was going to come out and just lay a turd?

the Denver market is so weird. Oklahoma is on more than CU...(which i like), but even hoops it's Big 10 and SEC on the networks. it makes no sense.

Cal's Riley just missed a complete wide open TD ball. this team is probably the best in the nation.

Ease up guys. It's not their fault. I think it's due to the fact that last week Cal had to travel out of their normal time zone and back in under 3 days, now they have to stay in the same time zone and that really fucked them up. It's very hard to play in two different time zones on consecutive weekends.

Cal is losing this game because they're not used to playing in a stadium that goes east to west. Theirs goes north to south. The angle of the sun has thrown them off and it's just not fair.

I also think it had a lot to do with the type of airplane the cubbie bears took. Usually they travel in a 767 but I heard this week they had to take a 737 so when that happens kids get all thrown for a loop. Can't blame em.

Epic.

Time zone? Can't be.
Game start time? Maybe. Too early in the day?
Back-to-back road games? Perhaps. They are coming off a huge, emotional victory over a Big Ten power.
Overlook/trap game? Getting warmer. The USC game IS next week.
Shitty defense? For fuck sake, feel free to cover the tight end.
Jahvid Best? Not even the best RB on the field today.
Single digit ranking in the polls proving once again they are over-rated? Ding-ding-ding.
Outcoached? Yep.

Other excuses getting votes: We had too many fumbles, our normally strong punting game wasn't, we got down early and had to abandon our running game, we didn't want to show too much on offense since Kal plays SC next week.

Note to USC: Shut down Best and make Riley beat you. He can't and he won't.

Way to show up Kal.

Cal is losing because they weren't prepared for the Oregon throw backs. On video/film they were expecting another combination of green, gold, black, yellow, gold, and white. Hey if you can't recognize your opponent then how can you expect to beat them.
