Hide your plungers Donkfan

The Boys are back in town.
I don't feel overly confident about the Boys ability to march into Invesco and open up a can of whoop ass, but they should be able to take care of business. Back to back games of over 200 yards rushing is a quarterbacks best friend, and they'll need to do it again to limit the mistakes of Mr. Romo.
The defense really stepped it up in the second half last night, and word had it that Wade actually got pretty pissed during his halftime rant. Thats what the Boys needed for, oh lets just say, the past 3 years.
Dallas offense will be efficient.
Dallas defense uses Orton as a tackling dummy.
Boys 23
Donks 13

Dallas has not beaten anyone who's actually won a game this year.
![Rolling Eyes :meds:](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
Couple this with Jones out, Barber probably out, Romo being Romo facing a real pash rush (2-3 picks), and Monday night home winner traveling the following week. Too easy.
Denver wins. Handily. 27-13.

While I think your final numbers are a bit off, your reasoning is not out of this realm. I think Barber is going to play. Rumors are circling that he was pretty pissed about not being activated for last monday's game. I don't think Wade and company will piss him off again. If the chance that Barber does not suit up, I have all the confidence in the world in Choice. Dude has put up some good numbers against amazing defenses last year.
While Dallas has played competitive football against one of the best teams in the NFL, the Broncos haven't. They will Sunday afternoon, and I think it may set the tone for a downward 5 game spiral for them. Their schedule is absolutely brutal.

If Romo remembers which team to pass to, Dallas should take care of business on the road.
If not, it will get ugly.

well not handily, but nice call....looks like the Denver defense is fer reals...Orton still looks like a lumbering oaf out there at time, but with some decent receivers he looks a hell of a lot better than he ever did in chicago

This game was just a minor speed bump on the Cowboys' path to the Super Bowl. They just had a couple bad bounces, and could've easily hung 75 on the scoreboard. Romo got this one bad game out of his system, but it's back to his automatic 300 yards and 3 TDs next week. This final score indicates nothing. This team's greatness transcends actual results.

Wow.
Just wow.
Unfortunately it hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. The Cowboys are in a very similar situation as..........
You guessed it, the Raiders. A fairly decent team with the exception of the quarterback. Romo flat out sucks. Missing receiver after receiver, fumbling, throwing picks, yadda yadda yadda. Same ole story week after week has this fan singing the blues.
The big question will be this. Will Jerry take the same route as Big Al, and keep starting this piece of crap cause he doled out the cash, or will he swallow his pride and start Jon Kitna to help jump start this jalopy?
My guess is the former, and that will lead to 8-8, or possibly 7-9.

"Calling it" would actually entail predicting the outcome of the game.
Do you call your bookie and say
..."Well, if Romo does well then I want Dallas, but if he doesn't then give me 50 times on Denver."
Face it, you're a fucking joke. You know nothing about football. You know nothing about betting.

Don't panic at 2-2. They'll be 3-2 after next week and heading into a bye. Basically they have two straight bye weeks coming up before Romo punks Matt Ryan in Big D.
Some things from yesterday- Wade has that defense rolling despite bad tackling on that one play. Bradie James just pops out of nowhere and comes in on run blitzes, makes tackles, and flies around. He's what this defense is all about- young, fluid, fresh, and flying to the ball. Then you have the excellent veteren Brooking who was making plays and goring his coaches on the sideline he was so pumped up. When I saw that, I was thinking, "this defense will be top five by December."
Let's also remember that a banged-up Barbarian still scored a TD and was kicking the shit out of people on third and short. Romo was out of sync, but this was his first visit to that stadium and was having trouble with the altitudes and the ball was floating and getting away from him. And that play on 4th and 3? Not enough people are talking about that play. only Tony Romo escapes the pressure that had been on him all day (nice work, offensive line
![Rolling Eyes :meds:](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
), and STILL manages to flip a perfectly accurate pass while on the run and make a tremendous gain.

Romo was out of sync...
Is out of sync some kind of code for sucking donkey dick?

Btw
while I didn't post in this thread, I did have Dungver at +3 as one of my best bets of the week.
+3 at Piled High, are you kidding me? I don't care how bad the mules stink, that's a tough place for visting teams to play.
Easy money.

The wife made us some plans with her sister's family to go apple picking/corn maze on Sunday. :brad: I told her I'm bringing a machete and/or flamethrower... there's no way I'm gonna be walking around some douchebag's farm all lost and shit, missing the fucking game.

Posts like this make me thank God for my wife. She's as into the Steelers as I and totally understands why it is simply not acceptable to miss the game.
