Scratch Tokyo and Madrid off the list.

It'll probably be Chicago, though since I relocated here I'm pretty indifferent towards the idea. Sure it should provide some quick economic boost, but the actual games are 7 years away and I'm not sure I'll even be here in 7 years time. Tough to get excited about that.

It's also tough to get excited about the traffic somehow getting even worse...and not just slightly worse, but multiplied by a number that hasn't even been identified yet worse. Perhaps this would help get a move on construction though, since (and almost literally) every road, freeway, and tollway is under construction, and there is seemingly no end in sight for any of these projects. That's what happens when your working window consists of about 17 minutes a day, 5 days a week, barring the weather is completely perfect.

Give this shit to Rio. South America has never had anything like this. We've had a few. You think a Rush in Rio concert will get these freaks jacked up? Try the Olympics, directly after the FIFA World Cup.

Shit - unless they hald every single event at Soldier Stadium there's no way any of them would ever start on time.

I'm there in two weeks - and get to see a Blackhawks game which I am reasonably stoked about.

One of my favorite cities, ANYWHERE. The bars are excellent. The food is excellent. The nightlife is A-1. And the people, most of ‘em, are genuinely nice. But yes, they could do with a bit of urgency to complete all the road construction.
