i'm dumb as a bag full of hair, but i'd prolly think twice if someone told me to intentionally fail classes because it was in my best interest.

What is more amazing is that ATM will remove up to three poor grades from someone's frosh year. So that 3.0 is really a 2.9.

My wife is pissed that her school is allowing this to happen.

that's piss poor. Colorado has this thing (that the faculty association have ended after a huge fight with the admins and economists, but is still grandfathered for this and next year) called "Course Forgiveness Policy" which means you can re-take a class you failed without the failure showing on your transcript.
