Did the gift shop at the museum sell popsicles?

I see that you're still using bungy cords instead of saddlebags....me too (which is a pain for trips more than two nights long).

Do we need a PET every time you get the urge to stretch your legs? You're wearing this thin.

Pace yourself, man.

Gotta love the irony of Marty decrying pics posted on the web of a guy...stretching his legs.

"If only..."

At the Green Iguana in Ybor City. My salmon was delectable. Tasted good, too. That red shit on the sides of the plate was hot as hell. I forget what they told me it was.

That red stuff appears to be this, or something related. Definitely has a kick to it (I keep a bottle at home and one at work).

I agree. Especially with no good-looklin' girls in the shots.
Well...I didn't think I needed to be so obvious...

:o

I miss your old hottie-ambush PET's.

You're kinda like Zy, only without the cranial asymmetry and chloroform.

What is "inaccurate" about that piece, smacko? Let's ignore the fact that paintings usually allow for the artist's interpretation for a minute....

Just little things like the 3rd baseline being approximately where the 1st baseline ought to be.

I get that the artist wanted a profile shot of ted and he also wanted to get the green monster and citgo signs in. Just could have made it a little closer to reality.

Just noticed one more thing. There's a gatorade sign in RF. Wasn't gatorade invented in the mid-late 60s? Ted hit his last dinger in 61. Seems to me there should have been some local pisswater beer sign there.

WTF is there a ted williams museum there, anyway? Is it his home town? And now it's at the ray's park? How the fukk is there not a museum for someone who is arguably the greatest hitter in the history of the game outside fenway? He is without a doubt the greatest red sox (or is that red sock) evah.

Rack sam's pet anyway as usualm.

Maybe the most amazing note on Ted Williams -- other than him being turned into a popsicle -- is that he won the triple crown two time and yet didn't win the MVP award in either of those seasons.

Btw, the picture looks like hell.

Carry on ...

Well, Boston didn't come close to making the playoffs in either year. I guess we've been having the age old MVP versus "player of the year" debate for a while now. Of course, his adversarial relationship with the media didn't help matters when the votes were counted.

Btw -- The two years he did win the MVP Boston finished 1st (sort of, they lost to NYY in a one game playoff in '49.)

The pic does look like hell. As for most anazing notes on the splendid splinter, the most amazing is that he spent 4 or 5 of his prime years killing motherfukkers in fighters for uncle sam during WWII and Korea while other mlbers spent their time in uniform quite often playing baseball. If he played his entire career during peaceime, he quite possible catches the babe for hrs and prossibly has another 400 season or two.

This is what you call a fukking hero. Rack the fukk out of ted.

Pretty optimistic on the spacing there.
The fact that they even won 2 State Championships is pretty amazing in itself.
