Yep time for that sweater vested midget to pack his shit and get out...I am sick of this team having NO SEMBLANCE of an offense, lackluster play and shitty play calling and game management...

FUCK THAT LITTLE PRICK...I have been on record last year and the beginning of this year if he didn't get it done with the talent assembled...then fuck him...2 years of TOP FIVE recruiting classes and a TOP 10 class last year and we can't fucking beat a ONE AND FUCKING FIVE purdue team...

FUCK

Great rant.

Your left tackle was getting smoked all day. Whoever that guy is, he makes Alex Boone look like Orlando Pace.

northern illinois strapped it on and ran it down purdue's throat for four qtrs. Ohio State got its production on busted plays and short fields.

the top 5/top 10 recruit stuff is a mirage. They got worked by a shit team that will be lucky to end the season with 4 wins.

Buckeye, dude, do you remember where OSU was before Tressel got there? Are you sure you want him gone and want to take your chances on whoever would come next? I totally agree that Pryor is HIGHLY overrated at QB. I'm not sure why they don't give somebody else a chance to run the offense and see what he can do. I bet all those asshole Buckeye fans who were booing Boeckman last year are kinda wishing they could have him back right now. I think Bauserman is the backup there and I think he really deserves a look at this point. Tressel getting shitcanned......not ready to go that far yet.

bearcat glad to have you back here..

Yeah I remember what it was like...Cooper his failures against Michigan noted...has won ONE Less BCS game than Tressel and did not have the benefit of the BCS for most of his tenure to play for NC's...but Cooper's teams with as good or better talent never showed up to play a big OOC game not prepared see

1998 at WVU when they were highly ranked
1995 BC, ND
1996 ND
1993 Washington when they were good

and a host of others...Cooper's teams could flat out score and came prepared...still fire the fucker as far as I am concerned...I am on record with the talent on this roster this is pitiful...USC lost a stud QB and other great skill players and really haven't missed too much, your bearcats lost TEN FUCKING starters on defense and are playing at a high level...so it is just getting fucking old that we get this kind of talent and can't do anyfuckingthing with it...

Thanks buckeye. Yeah, I can understand your frustration. Tressel has some big wins but also some big turds as well. Pryor is a great athlete but a mediocre QB at best. I'll take a pure QB like Bradford, Barkley, Clausen, Pike, or McCoy any day of the week over a guy like Pryor. Second, The defense has carried OSU this year and the offense is gonna have to step up and do their share. Do you EVER see Tressel giving Bauserman a chance?

actually Guiton a frosh is supposed to have some good tools so I don't think Joe B would get a chance...today was the day to do it and Tressel is too fucking scared because TP might get pissed off...

i mean they sold their soul to get the kid - much like Clarett and it will take a year or 2 to recover from this...boards are in full melt...and the pressure should be on Tresel to make changes...but he thinks he is bigger than the program...

oh and in all my ranting...Props to PURDUE...you wanted it...you earned it...congratulations...

oh and ARKY got GOAT FUCKED by the refs today...

fucking fuck fuck! That was pathetic. I'm so pissed I don't know what to say. Pryor sucked all day ... but the o-line sucked as well. Unbeliveable. what's with the shot gun all fucking day long. Jesus Christ! Run some I-formation and get the freaking ball in from the 3 yard line! You have a 6-6 240lb QB (did I meniton he sucked) and you tell me he can't sneak 4 plays and not get in the end zone!. How 'bout a couple options and a shit pass to the TE? My God! I don't know what else to say. This loss is going to cost them more than just this game. It could linger for years .. recruits, confidence, moral, etc, ... AHHHHH

Mace, with what Mgo has already experienced this season I'd say dude is pretty much rant-proof. If he didn't go sniper in the tower after that Central Michigan insanity, followed by the horrible end to the ND game, I don't think he ever will.

Maybe the Big Ten is turning into a junior meatgrinder
B10 - the original meatgrinder. All those brats to be made, you see.

to be fair, Big 10 fan was the first (probably getting it's genesis from hoops) to consistently roll with: "the conference is so good, teams keeping knocking each other off". i first heard this from a college buddy from Iowa City (named Chris, so no) at Vandy--which was always a counter to the top heavy Big 8 in the OU, NU, CU days...though, then, the Big 8 was pretty mighty in hoops with KU, OU, MU, KSU, ISU. when 6 of 8 teams are making the NCAA, that's a meatgrinder. :D ig the Big East put 75% of it's teams in the NCAA these days, the ESPN reacharound would be epic.

so, while i was never always convinced by Chris, Big 10 fan has some meatgrinder streetdcred. at least in my book.

I'm pissed, but an embarrassment like this was bound to happen sooner or later. I'm honestly suprised it didn't happen already. The pathetic offensive coaching has been a problem for years under Tressel and it finally got exposed in a non-spotlight game against a lower tier opponent. I'm past the point of demanding change from Tressel. tOSU fans have been asking for help on the offensive side of the ball since 2004. Tressel has consistently shown that he is not willing to change his ways. Since he has been head coach, he has never fired an assistant. Yet there are assistants on this staff that would be lucky to have a job at the high school level if it weren't for the friends & family plan they got going on at OSU. I think Tressel is a good man and has been great for the program and the university. But I think his best days are behind him. He is too stubborn to give up his micromanagement of the offense, and as far as I'm concerned we will never be a national title contender as long as he's still coach. Will still contend for conference titles and BCS appearances, yes, but that's as far as this staff can go. If you ask me, it's time to start thinking retirement, Jimmy. And time for OSU to turn to its in-state riches of coaching talent, and get Urban Meyer back home to Columbus.

Unless he just relishes a challenge why on earth would Urban leave Florida to go to OSU?

Considering he's an Ohio native, a graduate of OSU, a former coach at OSU and has an out in his contract for OSU, I wouldn't say it's out of the realm of possibility.

Has Urban expressed any desire in recent years to leave Florida? Hell, wasn't ND supposed to be his dream gig, once upon a time?

This is exactly how Cal fans feel.

Just substitute the offensive coordinator for the defensive coordinator.... and the special teams coach.

m2, wasn't Cal's Utah pirated OC supposed to make the huge difference this year?

Coulda swore you made a huge deal about how he'd make Cal's offense this unstoppable juggarnaut this season, since he had ungodly Cal talent to work with now, rather than meh Utah talent.

Yep, you definitely said that...ad nauseum.

How'd that work out for you?

Has any successful coach ever expressed the desire to leave their current gig? Doubt it.

The two outs in his contract are ND and OSU. I would imagine that one, if not both, of those are his 'dream destinations.' Makes sense, he has coaching history at both places. I know there have been in-depth conversations on this board theorizing on why he would or wouldn't leave Florida for South Bend, if offered. Not sure I recall too many discussions about Ohio State, but for good reason-- Tressel's job has never really been in jeopardy and probably still isn't (but retirement might be on the horizon). I can vouch that there are numerous reasons to theorize why he would leave Florida for OSU. This is all just message board talk at this point, but if the job in Columbus opened up any time in the next couple years and Meyer is still at Florida, I can confidentally say that OSU would go after him and would have a good chance at landing him.

I can also confidently say that if OSU landed Urban they'd run roughsod over the Big 10, and they'd soon be back in the BCS title game, where they wouldn't embarrass themselves.

If ND should ever land him, well, goodbye USC winning streak. He'd get ND up to snuff again, very quickly.

Shit for brains... what does Cal's offensive coordinator have to do with their defensive coordinator ???

You do remember the opening drive of the Cal vs. $C game where Cal marched down the field with ease and if not for KR throwing a pick in the endzone from the 5 yard line... Cal would have been up 7-0 to start the game.

You also remember $C's first drive of the game where they had a 3rd and 24.... and guess what Bob Gregory did ???

He did what he always does and rushed just 3 guys... and they result was just as predictable as $C players getting paid.

1st down.

That's when every Cal fan and player knew the game was over !!!

It's kinda hard to score when your offense is barely on the field and Gregory refuses to change his BDBD defensive philosophy and demoralizes the entire team.

If you really want to piss off some Cal fans... go to their board and mention how great a D coordinator you think Bob Gregory is.

By the way, Cal put up 45 points on a very good defensive team in UCLA. Just the week before that defense held Oregon to just 7 offensive points for the whole game.

Trust me, $C won't come close to putting up 45 points on UCLA. Cal had 35 points on them by halftime, then Tedford does what he always does and went conservative.

Cal's offense didn't score a legitimate point in their two statement games. Fuck what their D couldn't do either, your whole point was that Cal's D was the best in the land and their O would be unstoppable with their new OC.

72-0.

They scored no legitimate points. Their offense completely failed...again.

Two years in a row now, Cal and all their explosive weapons haven't scored against USC. Not once.

72-0.

That nation's best D we were supposed to see this season?

72-0.

Cal is an embarrassment. They're gutless pussies. They can put up all the numbers they want against shitty teams. Get 'em in a big game?

72-0.

72-0.

The Washington game? Shit happens, especially when you're forced to give a QB his first ever start in CF, and your best player is wearing street clothes.

Regardless, USC is still on schedule to go to the Rose Bowl again. More importantly to you, USC has now beaten Cal six in a row, and eight of the last nine. Even the one they barely lost occured in a year when they still went on to win the Pac 10 outright, the Rose Bowl and the national title - three things you've never experienced in your whole life as a Cal fan.

This was Cal's year. This was the year when everything lined up perfectly for them to beat USC and go to the Rose Bowl. This was the year when you talked ungodly shit, even being insane enough to guarantee a two TD win over USC!

Have another December bowl game, Cal fan.

72-0.
