Jeebus Christ...

You can't swing a dead Felix in here w/o smacking a Doink or Chargeless fan, and not one of you sackless fucks has the nad to start a thread about MNF?

Just. Pathetic.

Dungver goes down tonite, btw.

Is it just me, or does SD look like like they're wearing concrete shoes tonite?

Nice job by Phillip Leaf avoiding that delayed blitz... kinda' like a statue avoids pidgeon shit.

Maybe it takes them awhile to warm up?

TD Blots... game on.

Phillip Leaf is not very mobile.

As much as I hate Dungver and I hate them with a passion, I'd pretty well enjoy seeing the Chargers go down... and take their pathetic bandwagoning fanbase along with them.

Chargertard is without a doubt the worst fan in not just the AFC West, but the entire NFL.

Don't be surprised when "your" team moves to LA. It's inevitable.

The Chargers have no pass rush and no O-line. Tomlinson might actually be able to get some yards if he ever had a hole to run through, and a Lorenzo Neal to clear some LBs out of his way.

Oh yeah, and there's the matter of a QB who has no idea when it's time to dump the fucking ball.

Cue season over troll...

Barring devastating injuries, Denver is walking away with this division.

I can see SD "hanging around" in the wild card chase, though ... maybe.

They've got games left with KC (twice), Oakland, Cleveland, Tennessee and Washington.

Give me a fucking break WW!!!

I always thought the best fans in the NFL was a toss up between Denver, Washington and Green Bay. Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Washington have a black-out this year and did GB have to buy up remaining tickets and give them to the less fortunate to avoid a blackout? THE BEST FANS IN THE NFL ARE HERE IN DENVER!!!

KC will never be a part of this conversation!!! Talk about your “sea of red” and your ‘parking lot tailgates” but I’ll still remember the caravan trips to KC with family and friends from Denver to Arrow Head Stadium to help ALMOST fill that concrete piece of crap stadium you still call an NFL stadium.

Bottom line… No one walking this earth thought the Broncos would be doing what there are doing, including LV and gambling degenerates who had them (before the season started) going to the Super Bowl at 101 to 1 odds!!!

I do agree with you on the Denver vs. San Diego thing, for whatever reason it’s hard to hate them and that should change! As far as Chiefs and Raiders go it’s hard to get excited for those games cuz both teams have sucked for so long with a year or two being the exception.

It doesn’t mater how you slice it, the Broncos are KICKING ASS and it’s nothing but FUN HERE DENVER!!!

I don't agree.

Washington sells out in large part due to the fact that it is the political hub of America.
"Skin fan" is a good fan, but not among THE very best in the league.

Pecker fan is.

Fans that I rate higher than Mule fan are ...

Steeler fan
Raider fan
Packer fan
Chief fan
Browns fan
Eagle fan
Giants fan

There might be others.

You guys were right about Charger fan all along. There is a lady on a bridge threatening to jump. It has shut down a major interstate into downtown during morning rush hour.

Also, a guy died during the night after falling 25 feet at the stadium yesterday.

Bad karma all around!

We heard about that in the parking lot while we were tailgating. I was hoping it was Norv Turner who jumped or was thrown out of the press box.

Then reality hit....when we found out it wasn't.

Not to piss in your corn flakes pops, but I'm not sure fan rankings from a guy who never goes to a game, means much. Also don't let Chief fan fool you, I've seen plenty of empty seats on TV at their games this season. It doesn't matter where, when your team sucks, fans won't show.

This is true for the most part, but the Texans have yet to put together a winning season and we've not had one blackout.

It's called learning your fucking lesson after the Oilers skipped town. Fucking hated it as a kid and all those games were blacked out. These were games from PLAYOFF Oiler teams. Oilers made the playoffs 7 years in a row in the Moon years and still could not sell out. I blame it on the Cowboys as they still had a mojority of fans in the Houston area. People stayed home to watch Dallas instead of going to Oiler games.

Questionable TD. But would it have made any difference in the end result if he didn't get it?

I don't think the Chargers will ever move to LA.

Maybe the City of Industry, though.

That actually has a pretty catchy sound...The City of Industry Chargers.

After that move is accomplished it shouldn't be very much time before they start playing right to the same level as the Raiders. They're already moving quickly in that direction.

Feel free to give your own rankings.

Also, if you travel to games outside of California, feel free to tell us your impressions of fans in other cities.

Maybe it had more to do with the fact they played in the Astrodome.

Sorry Wags. Third largest city in the nation where football is king and their consistent playoff team could not sell out 75k seats? They even covered seats up with tarps and lowered the number to 62k and still could not sell out. The Astrodome was considered the 8th wonder at the time. It wasn't the stadium. It was the people. And they have learned. Having a local team is worthy of support.

I gotta agree with Indy here. It was also the sign of the times. Houston's economy crashed hard in early 80s and it created a hangover for years. Nobody went inside the loop unless it was for work purposes only. Not only that, but Bud Adams was a complete dick. He called for a press conference that was unauthorized by the city and the Rockets about a possible new stadium downtown that would be the new home of the Oilers and Rockets. That left a bad taste in a lot peoples mouths and it showed when the Oilers were turning in 11-5 seasons and nobody cared to go watch them.

Everyone here loves Bob McNair and for him not having one accomplishment to show for all the love in seven years, the dude is banking off this city's support.

Does this fact surprise you?

Located smack dab in the middle of fucking nowhere... had the benefit of being the only "major" professional sports team in what... at least a 500+ mile radius until the 1990s? :meds:

It's a message board. People are actually encouraged to respond to lame attempts at shitty points, no matter what idiot they originate from. I don't care whom your shit take was originally directed at, you dig?

Geography has served your franchise very well since its inception, as well as having no other local pro team worth a shit until the 90s.

I've been in it no less than 100 times probably. Compared to today's standards, yeah, it was a shithole. In the 70s and 80s, it was an elite sports venue. Never had jack shit for concessions or entertainment outside the field and seats, but the game atmosphere was great there. The size of the dome, the crazy ass lit up scoreboard...as a kid, I loved going there. Later on, yeah, I agree it was long past its time.

Maybe for a small period of time in the 70s, but at no point in the 80s was it an elite anything. It was a fucking piss-smelling dump. It was like going to a game in 75,000 seat highway rest stop.
I went to one of the last baseball games ever played in the Astrodome. Sorry, but you're full of shit. You want a real piss smelling dump, go to Olympic Stadium in Montreal. Now THAT was a piss smelling dump.
