The Raiders believed they outsmarted the experts by taking Heyward-Bey with the No. 7 pick in the draft and signing him for a mere $23.5 million guaranteed. But after six games as a starter, Heyward-Bey has two pass receptions.

Too funny!!!
Now you know why the Raiders are the worst sports team in professional sports over the last 6/7 years.

Only mfool would find a way to slap his
own face while trying to get over.
10 Michael Crabtree 49ers 0 0 0
Bey, as shitty as he's been, has produced MORE than your Nancyboy 'tard.

The only receiver taken in the 2009 draft to produce less than Bey is some guy yet to step onto the field. Bey has also produced slightly more than your average corpse. Well done, poptard. Much rejoicing, yes? You got... over.
In 5 less games, Crabtree will most likely have at least 5 (possibly as much as 20, at Bey's current rate) times as many catches/yards by season's end. Let's bump this thread early next year and see where we stand.
Deal?

1. I didn't start a thread to crow about another team's failing #1 draft choice receiver ... while my own team's #1 draft choice receiver has done absolutely ... NOTHING.
The fact that mfool K'dHOA like that will never not be funnay.
2. I didn't start the thread.
3. I didn't start the thread.
Bey has disappointed, no doubt.

Unlike Bey, Crabtree hasn't been getting paid to NOT PRODUCE. Do you understand the difference?
Ya know what, forget it. You already proved how fucking stupid you are by bumping a thread rejoicing the fact that your head coach will not be arrested. Instead of letting the embarrassment of what happened fade away... you once again proudly demonstrate you're missing the point entirely.

Catching on: 49ers rookie Michael Crabtree, the No. 10 overall pick, caught five passes in his season debut Sunday, racing past No. 7 pick Darrius Heyward-Bey's two-catch season total.
Heyward-Bey came back with his first two-catch game for 28 yards. He now trails Crabtree by one despite the six-game head start.
"It's good to catch the ball," Heyward-Bey said.
The Niners get over on the Raiders once again.... and for half the money and 35 times the production....
Oh yeah, four of Michael Crabtree's first 5 catches went for first downs.
Poptart's an idiot.
the truth

In Russell and Bey, Oakland has a pair of mental giants.

Dumb@ss, Raider fan didn't jock the D.H. Bey selection.
This was my take right after it was made.
------------
The Bey pick reeks of Al trying to make a splash and prove himself somehow more genius than anyone else in the league.
You said it, James, Bey could have been had by trading down.
Guess they couldn't find a trade parter :rolleyesthingy:
They not only passed on Crabtree and Maclin in favor of Bey, but they passed on at least 6 or 8 guys who I would have prefered for them to take rather than Bey ... notably Raji and Monroe.
Bey never had a REALLY good college season.
As I see it, it's very much a HOPE pick.
Oh well, maybe he'll pan out, but as I view it right now, it was a poor choice.
Won't do much to silence the "Al is in love with fast guys" chorus of mockery.

No, as I cited to you, I was not in favor of Oakland drafting Bey with the #7 pick.
