The straw that broke the camels back?

Too bad, as he's only about 75 yards shy of breaking Priest Holmes all time rushing yards record for the Chiefs. Should have only taken him another 3 games or so to get there.

Not defending LJ, but it's no surprise that some outspoken players are going to start publically challenging Haley and his "my way or the hi-way" approach. This team is a train wreck.

Par for the course, CM. You'd be surprised at how awful the spelling is on twitter, facebook, myspace etc... where mostly kids, young adults, and Diego in Seattle types post these days.

You would think that for kids who have access to a keyboard at such an early age, that their spelling/grammar would be much better. Better typists. Something. It doesn't really make sense to me.

One thing that blows my mind to this day... when exactly did people start getting it through their stupid fucking skulls that you pluralize words by adding "apostrophe s" to everything? When did this happen?

Cat = Cat's
Dog = Dog's

Huh's?

This just in: Dateline Kansas City........

On Monday in the Chiefs locker room, Johnson used another homosexual slur after saying he wouldn't speak to reporters.

Johnson, sitting next to second-year running back Jamaal Charles, told reporters that "I'm not talking till Thursday," his usual day of speaking with reporters.

Then Johnson turned away and whispered.

"Get your faggot ass out of here," he said.

...just terrible the way some players talk in the locker room. :meds:

Our basic freedoms are eroding.

You can't call a dude a faggot in your own damn lockerroom?

You can't call your coach a dumbfuck on Twitter?

You can't email pics of yourself in female lingerie without having them go public?

The funniest thing I've always LMAOed at Larry Johnson about is the fact that he really tries to act all hard and from the mean streets or the 'hood or whatever you wanna call it, yet the dude was raised in State College, PA (Penn State U., basically) and his family is upper middle class AT WORST LMAO....if I was Todd Haley I'd make LJ practice with the scout team and deactivate his bitter ass the rest of the season, therefore NEVER letting him sniff getting the Chiefs' all-time rushing yardage record from Priest Holmes.

My 1st reaction was to just cut him, but that's EXACTLY what he wants to happen so he can get on with a good team. FUCK giving him that opportunity...I'd let his underacheiving ASS rot on the bench the rest of the season.

Don't be a playah hater.

I saw him carry several tacklers downfield yesterday while he was driving forward for extra yards.

This trainwreck isn't on LJ.

Well it sure as fuck isn't on Todd Haley either....again, Carl Peterson created this mess over the past 10+ years, and it might take a minimum of HALF that long to get this thing righted again.

...this just in of the high speed sportswire...dateline Kansas City

The Kansas City Chiefs suspended RB Larry Johnson indefinitely on Tuesday, saying they are continuing to investigate his recent comments in which he reportedly belittled coach Todd Haley via Twitter and reportedly used gay slurs addressing media in the locker room. Johnson has been barred from practicing with the team or participating in team activities, with no timetable given for his return.

Haley is expected to address the situation surrounding Johnson during a news conference Tuesday, which is scheduled for 2:40 p.m. ET. That news conference can be seen live on NFL Network.

The Chiefs released a statement Tuesday announcing the decision on Johnson.

“The Kansas City Chiefs and the National Football League are continuing to investigate the alleged comments made by Larry Johnson,” the statement read. “Until that review is complete, the Chiefs have instructed Larry to refrain from practicing with the Chiefs or participating in other team activities. A decision regarding Larry’s status will be made once the investigation has concluded.”

Johnson released an apology of his own Tuesday through his representatives.

“First of all, I want to apologize to the fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and the rest of the NFL, Commissioner Goodell, the Chiefs organization, Coach Todd Haley, his staff, and my teammates for the words I used yesterday,” the statement read. ”I regret my actions. The words were used by me in frustration, and they were not appropriate.

“I did not intend to offend anyone, but that is no excuse for what I said. I also want to apologize to all the kids who view athletes as role models. I was not a good role model yesterday and hopefully I can become a better role model. We all make mistakes, and the challenge is to learn from them.

“I will do my best to learn from this one as I move toward becoming a better person, teammate, and member of the Kansas City Chiefs team and community.”

Very nice call on this one Paul. It might be fun parsing this article for bullsh!t response from LJ...What was it 2-3-4 years ago the DOTRF were pimping LJ as the all-timer...

Larry Johnson Sr. moved his family to State College when Larry Jr. was in 9th or 10th grade - so Larry didn't grow up in State College. Larry's family is very solid. He loves to play gangstah despite his advantaged upbringing. Larry's a brat - it happens sometimes despite a good family upbringing.

Basically, LJ was the best RB PSU had since Curtis Enis when he joined the team as a freshman in 1999. He would have been the starting RB immediately if talent had been the only qualification. Personally, I think they should have lived with the kid's smart mouth and played him he whole way through, especially when you consider that he's still pretty much the same kid he was when he was 15 or 16.

Larry's volcanic personality is exactly what made him a great RB - the kid ran angry.

Investigate what, exactly, you hypocritical NFL cocksuckers? You know what he said. Apparently, it's ok to sucker punch one of your assistant coaches and break his jaw, while it's not ok to call a fag reporter a fag.

Loaded question, but I'll answer it anyway.

Jamal Charles should be given more carries, though I'm not sure how well he can hold up under the workload. He's got much more quickness than LJ.

For fucks sake Wags, how is it you can post here, and read posts here for a long as you have, and still be such an ignorant dip shit? Not one single soul at Arrowhead gives a rats ass about any fag, or any fag comment. What they do give a rats ass about is LJ continuing to be a bitter red ass piece of shit, just like he has been since the day his whiney ass started crying like a little bitch about his carries.

The only person that should be called a fag is LJ, because he sucks more cock than any cocksucker that has ever sported a Yankee lid. Fuck LJ. Once a piece of shit, always a piece of shit. The Chiefs have finally pulled their heads out of their assses, which you have still yet to do Wags, and they are using the faggot reference as a convienient excuse to quiet all the insulted shitty dick, bleeding asshole, future AIDS patients, and sit whiney bitch ass LJ the fuck down finally.

The Chefs could cut LJ anytime they wanted without salary cap and save the 210K per game he's getting.

For some reason, they aren't - I can only assume they hold some delussion he represents some sort of value.
By that same strecth of the imagination - if he did, they'd have gotten a 5th rounder for him by last Tuesday.

They didn't and don't need any bullshit excuse to sit LJ.

Just like they didn't need an excuse to cut Pollard, or sit their best linebacker.

Pollard SUCKED ASS. Derrick Johnson won't do what he's told to do. That's why Pollard got whacked and DJ sees more bench time than playing time. Again, not real hard to understand.

Wouldn't be a wise idea for the league to try to punish someone for something that ... didn't happen.

But at any rate, the National Faggot League is at it again.

Only mildly ironic that they would reprimand an individual player for the dreadful "slur" against faggots, while the organization the player plays for has been making a mockery (so some say) of Native Americans for ... how many decades now?

Yeah, I get it.
The Injuns are locked away and don't carry any societal weight.

Can we finally lock all the queers away on reservations so we can get on with the task of making a mockery of them?

For being a detrimental ingrate, KC ought to just bury DiaperBoy on the RB depth chart.

Dude, what is it with you?? lol

The D.A. fully investigated and found NO evidence that Cable assaulted or threatened Hanson.

The D.A. said this of the incident:

Based on our review, it appears that during a discussion amongst coaches and Mr. Cable regarding Mr. Hanson's future with the Oakland Raiders, Mr. Cable became angry and rushed toward Mr. Hanson. At that juncture, one of the other coaches in the room stepped in between the two and Mr. Cable bumped into him, which in turn caused that coach to bump into Mr. Hanson's chair in which he was leaning back, with his feet upon the table. As a result of the force, Mr. Hanson fell over, at which time he most likely fractured his jaw. This conclusion is supported by the statements of independent witnesses present in the room, including and especially the coach who bumped into Mr. Hanson's chair. The same witnesses did state that after Mr. Hanson was on the ground, Mr. Cable grabbed him by the shirt . The witnesses also made it clear, however, that at no time during this incident did Mr. Cable strike Mr. Hanson."

Not true. They cut him and they still have to pay him. They are awaiting the NFL's decision. They are hoping he gets suspended by the NFL. That's the only way they don't have to pay him. I'm guessing they wait to hear the decision. Keep him around for however many games he's suspened for then cut him after that. LJ gets fucked by losing money and has less time to join another team.

Unless Larry was cut before opening day and and resigned after opening day, I'm pretty sure he's a vested veteran. That would mean his season salary is guaranteed after opening day.

Keitzman is known for trying to break news before getting all the facts. That's exactly what he did in this situation. The Chiefs did have the opportunity to cut him before the season started and not be on the line for the cash. LJ fooled their ass by being a good soldier and now he's going to get paid unless the NFL hands down the suspension.

Independent witnesses? It was Cable, and 4 assistant coaches.. one went to the hospital with a broken jaw because he fell...

Of course their statements won't back Hanson. I wonder if the Al Davis came up with the fall scenario himself since it sounds so absurd.
