Some people are too stupid to own an amp

This is a review off Harmony Central for the Fender Vibro-King.

This amp is supposed to be one of the best ever made? Give me a break! The features on this thing are okay but kind of cheesy. The reverb is more along the line of the kind you find in cheap effects pedals. The effects are there but I never said they sound good. The three speakers are nice but two of them dont work on mine.

This is where it really gets bad. Im sorry but this is no tone heaven. Ive tried to play my ocarina and jaws harp through it and its awful. And its not like its the mike I use is cheap. I have a SM58. It is okay to mike my bugle through it but it still distorts it a bit. It makes my ocarina sound like a yelping sea lion with a bad cold. The feedback is really horrible, especially when I turn the volume up and push the high end. The only thing that made it sound good is when my uncle came over and played his gibson guitar through it. It sounded really good but he is like a pro. Why cant it make my ocarina sound like that? Basically the tone sucks ass.

I tried to take two of the speakers out to sell because i really only need one and im behind on the mortgage. Well I acidently badly lacerated one with a screw driver and i my 15 year old niece stepped on the other one by accident. It was my fault for having it on the floor but I didnt think these speakers were so flimsy. Those two wont work now. My niece totally crushed the one all the way through. Recently I pulled out one of those tube thingys and put in one from my dad's old radio. Well the amp must not be too compatable with anything cuz it dont work now and I cant find the orignal tube thingy. In short, this thing is about as reliable as clinton is to hillary.

here is the deal.....i called fender and told them about all the problems with this amp and they called me "crazy". They had the nerve to do that and said it was my own fault and not theirs. For some reason their warranty "doesnt cover situations such as yours". Yeah whatever. What arrogance. No more Fender for me.

Ive had the amp for about a year. I would not buy another one at this price if it were stolen. I wouldnt even get one if it were for free. I hate this amp. It almost broke up my marriange and it is a piece of crap. All these good reviews amaze me. I dont know how mine can suck so bad when these review actually give it high marks. Maybe its just mine. Im planning on selling it.
