I know its been brought up already and will become more of an issue as the season winds down. And maybe if things go down to the decimal in the BCS poll, as they sometimes do, I'll feel differently, but right now I just can't get worked up about the BCS. I, honestly, don't really want to play for the title. I just want to go to the Rose Bowl.

We may be playing the best football in the country right now. We might be able to win it all, if given the chance. But I can't find it in myself to even care anymore. I did care in 2001. I did care in 2007. But the idea that, no matter how it's done, we just choose 2 teams to play and say that the winner is the champion of all of college football has just become too silly for me to get worked up about.

So, fuck it. Give me the Rose Bowl. We'll stomp Iowa and take our #2-4 ranking and I'll be damn happy about it. I can honestly say that, right now, I don't even want to be the 'national champion'. I know the argument is going to be made by a lot of Duck fans, and that, especially if a 1 loss team gets in there will be a lot of whining. I'm not going to be a part of that whining, though. I'm done with even considering national titles under this system anyway. If it happens someday, great. If not, I'm not going to lose a minute of sleep over it.

I want Flordia vs Texas for the BCS title

Sorry, can't agree with this. Anytime my team has no shot at the title, I have to root for chaos. The BCS sucks, I want them to scrap it ASAP and give us a playoff.

Florida-Texas would mean the BCS honks would get all over the airwaves and scream, "See, we told you so. The BCS works."

During our 13 game win streak, how many times have we heard this from our opponent? At least 6 or 7. Iowa State, Penn State x2, South Carolina, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan State I believe.

Ohio State next week will add to that list. Then it will be Oregon. If we win 8,000 games in a row, maybe some opponent will actually respect us!

Yeah, Iowa would get destroyed by that awesome 3-5 U-Dub team in Seattle. Hawks just can't win on the road against such an awesome opponent!

You haven't won yet in The Shoe. Madison is only a tough place to play when Wisky is good. They aren't good this season.

You have one win this season that was impressive. One, and it was over a Penn St team which owns not a single quality win.
