I don't care if he plays another down for Cal. As long as he's alright.

Tedford says, Jahvid had a concussion but was able to move his extremities.

Great news.

Ok, I can give a shit about this game again. Now only if Cal will.

Hope he's OK.

I see IndyKid is still in here acting like a 3 year old who's not getting enough attention. That's a big surprise.

Yes.

He had two players at the goal line just waiting for him.

Something amazing....

Is it the right decision for IndyKlan to get down on his knees for men and decide to swallow ?

Is it the right decision for Killian to support a team that is run by grown men who go down on little boys ??

You'd have to ask the people involved in these decisions.

'Spray, they didn't just lose again, they got slaughtered at home again, with a cheap score at the buzzer to make it only a 31-14 loss.

102-20.

None of that matters.

102-20 matters.

Obviously an Oregon State win helps the Bearcats but that scene was flat out scary. The guy is a college football player and student and I don't care who he plays for or what their fans are like, that is just frightening. I really hope he recovers quickly and gets back on the field.

He's fine. It's just a concussion, though it is his second one in two weeks, so that's cause for concern.

That's what they reported during the game.

Good post.

I've never seen a player jump 5 feet in the air and get hit and end up 10 feet in the air and land on his neck/back at 20 mph.

Jet blue is one tough ass motherfucker !!!

I hope he doesn't play another down of college football and goes straight to the NFL as a top 5 pick.

He was "knocked" cold. That's why his body went limp like that.

Completely unconscious.

I don't know how reliable that whole "acceptable number of concussions" thing really is, since football players used to receive dozens of concussions without anybody thinking anything more about it than, "He got his bell rung." It's only in the last fifteen years or so that they've really even begun to categorize and catalogue these things.

Football players go through hell. These kids have to try and sit in class and function like normal students, while sitting there doped up on painkillers, suffering from concussions, lack of sleep, film study to attend, physical therapy, etc.

These kids are super human. No wonder some of 'em can't even read at a third grade level.

His arms go straight up and his legs draw up some. Yeah - he was out cold, but that was freaky. Another thing - I don't think I've ever seen a guy locked down on a cart WITH oxygen on his face. That didn't look good at all. If all he got was a concussion, it was a bad motherfucker. You might not see him again this year...

I thought he died.... after every OSU player got into circle in the endzone and went down on their knees and started praying.

It was surreal.

Having been on the field many times... I can tell you, its like concrete and field turf. Not grass.

The OSU players as well as Cal players were clearly disturbed.... one of the scariest plays I've ever seen.

102-20.
102-13. I refuse to give Arizona the last minute TD against Iowa's 2nd string defense and acknowledge that as a 27-10 win for the Hawks so I must be consistent! By the way, Frisco's cracking me up in this thread. Needed some laughs today!

Rack Spray.... he gets it.

It's cool to rip on teams.... its part of the fun.

Not cool, to laugh when a player gets hurt (Indyfrisco, Killian, Moby Dick, Screw Michigan, and the noj).

These guys are losers of the highest degree...

Good job, spray.

The kid is fine, he has a concussion. He didn't break his back. The kid shouldn't have went air borne. There were two players there and he could have lowered his shoulder. Instead, he went for the highlight reel play and got fucked up.

Bad things happen when you leave your feet when you have the ball.

Keep crying, toolio. He's just lucky your 20 sided di roll landed on +5 health.

Cal's QB isn't accurate enough to hit the other team's MLB in the balls.

As it turns out, he'll only miss one game. http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-col ... 6966.story That sucks, of course, but obviously it could've been much worse.

Here's hoping the kid is able to have a normal physical life.

Way to many freak injuries, dude needs to stay in school and get his degree, cuase his NFL career could be too short.

Quizz still the better college RB.
