KC - OAK In Game (Break out the brooms thread)

Oakland is fixin' to kick the shit out of the Hooterville Chiefs and execute the 2009 SWEEEEEEEP of them.
KC will be playing it's 2nd straight road game while Oakland is coming off it's bye week, rested and finally HEALTHY.
Best receiver, Shilens - in the lineup for the first time this year
Best back, McFadden - back in the lineup
Best O-Lineman, Gallery, back in the lineup
Same shit QB, Russell, still under center
Well, I DO predict a good game from Oakland this week and a good game from Russell -- relatively.
They'll look NFL caliber.
And the 'duds will get to 3-6 and The Nation will get erect and start dreaming of getting hot and getting into wildcard contention.
Until ... Cincinnati comes to town and cockblocks that all to hell -- like 37-3.
Cincinnati
@ Dallas
@ Pittsburgh
Hmmmmm ....
The ship is sunk and Al has truly driven a once proud team and fan base right into the ground.
But at least this Sunday we can wave our dicks in air.
What I am thankful for:
The Kansas City Chiefs
Raiders 27
Chefs 17

Ditto.
And props to the Silver and Black as well.
Whenever I feel embarrassed about being in the same division as the Lambs...
I realize it could be sadder.

I thought this thread was going to be about the Bengals beating the Steelers this weekend.

I laughed. LOUDLY.

Since WHEN???
Look for Matt Cassel to rain TDs on the 'duhs via Dwayne Bowe/Chris Chambers, and JaMoolie can plan on LOTS of time on the ground. No sweep this year, folks:
Chiefs- 24
Alculas- 12

Time was when a Chiefs vs. Raiders matchup would generate gang warfare and a 6 page, archivable thread.
My, how times have changed. :(
Nevertheless, the only thing that makes the Chiefs demise easier to swallow is knowing that the 'duhs have sucked even harder, for longer.
Chiefs 17
Duhs 9

Javon Walker has asked to be released.
I'll be very curious to see if he is released, and if he is picked up, and if so, what he can produce for the team that signs him.
He's barely seen the field this season, despite Oakland having a DESPERATE need for a capable vet to help out, and the fact that he keeps saying he is good to go.
He's either full of shit or Cable was given the werd from the Pajama Man that D.H. Bey will be on the field.
Shilens got hurt in pre-seaon and that was a BIG blow to the Raider receiving corp.
I had hopes that Walker would be ready to give us SOMETHING, because I didn't trust the rookies to do much for us.
Cable assured everyone prior to game one that starting two rookie receivers to go with JaMarcus was "no problem," but I knew he was full of hot air.
Murphy is a gamer and I like his future.
D.H. Bey has me quite concerned.
Even more disturbing than his virtual ZERO production are his comments when asked about it.
"I'm solid and grading out well after the games" and such laughable absurdities as that.
Solid shit.

Gotta say I'm happy to see the Chefs in their "Texans" gear - it almost makes me forget their from KC.
Bush just ran for 80 yds and Fargas punched it in. Nice start Chefs.

J. Russell with another tremendous half of football.
8-19 for 64 yds
That's gettin' it done.

Just horrible, horrible football.....
The last three plays -
Russell scrambles, totally oblivious to where he is and completes the pass after he's across the LOS
Next Play Chefs, have Russell in grasp, they can't bring him down, he gets the pass off 6' above the Receivers head who tips it right into the Arms of the Chef's DB who drops it.
Then to cap the drive Seabass misses the FG -
Just really, really ugly

Holy Fuck - They just topped it with a reception by Bowe who fumbles and then 4 raiders kick it and muff it 20 more yards downfield before the Chefs recover
Football Follies bound

Oh Christ - The Chefs go for it on 4th and 1 from the 20 , and don't even bother with an actual play action fake and instead roll Cassell out who promptly tries throwing to a covered TE 3 yds. away
I can't watch this shit anymore........

Hindsight 20/20, but I would have taken the 3 pts right there if I was Haley.
Don't risk leaving pts on the field in a close division road game.
Bad decision.

No Smack here - honestly Russell is the worst QB I can ever remember seeing at a Pro Level. Ever. The worst mechanics, the poorest vision and the worst accuracy. I just watched him miss 3 straight throws to totally open WR - it's just stunning how bad he is

what's also amazing is why the called 3 straight passes? Fuck all they had to do is hand to Bush or Fargas up the middle.
And of course right after the punt, Cassell muffs the draw handoff to Charles and the Raider recover.
And promptly go 3 and out.
Honestly, this is just as bad as profootball can get

are you watching the same game?
Every pass was at their ankles, over their heads or behind them.
You can't put that on the receivers

Sadly for Oakland, they actually DO have some playahs on this team.
But they've got ...
- no QB
- no O-Coordinator
- no G.M.
I mean, what could go wrong?
Strictly looking at personnel, a solid coach and organization could have this bunch of guys at .500, imo.

Most of the drops come when the receiver is shocked as shit that the fat dummy actually put the ball where he is supposed to.
I've never seen a QB play SO badly and yet still be trotted out as the starter week-after-week.
I don't buy the
"JaMarcus gives us the best chance to win" garbage.

I hear ya pop - but how much gray matter does it take to see that running works and until the opposition can stop it, there's no reason to do anything different.
Fuck, I coached for 12 years and that basic premise worked pretty well

16-10, I'll take it....now if we can just keep Wallace Gilberry from hitting the enemy QB late we just might get out of that shithole with a "W".

And in a fitting conclusion DHB has a ball hit him in the hands, and as he tries juggling he sets a perfect volley to the S for an INT to wrap the game.
Thankfully the Colts Pats game is coming on

Damn, I was close to nailing that prediction.
Thank you Raiders for giving the "special" kids and coaches from KC some competition they can play with and down to.
Just an embarrassing cripple fight, that's what that was.
Haley is an absolute idiot with
some much of his play calling and game management. Had they found a way to lose that game (like they did the one at Arrowhead) I doubt he would've made it back to KC. The players would have lynched him on the team bus on the way to the airport and dropped his body off is some back alley.
That said, the Chiefs have now won 7 straight at the Black Hole. No other team can say that. We come into your house, raid your fridge of 40's, rape your wimmen, and wipe our cocks on your drapes before sauntering off with a vaguely unsatisfied feeling.
Swallow
that 'duhfan.
