It was a tribute to the military as stated... their sleeves were also camouflaged in Carolina Colors if you were paying close attention. The uniforms and equipment from the game are going to be auctioned off with the proceeds going toward The Wounded Warrior Project.

Meh. People blatantly gravytraining off the military and all this rah rah patriotism as PR tools is getting a little old. I'm not saying it's a bad move, but I don't think it's as sincere as some might believe. It's actually possible to honor our troops without attention whoring oneself.

They're not attention whoring and wasn't to "just honor" the military you heartless prick. The uniforms were special and worn specifically for the purposes of being able to auction them off to raise money for veterans wounded and disabled in the line of duty which 100% of the proceeds will be going towards. There's nothing gravytraining or rah rah about such a thing just being a good Samaritan.

Right. I forgot how pure and genuine the intentions are in BIG TIME cfb. Nah, no recruiting or PR angle here at all. Why would a desperate Spurrier seek that angle? It's great that $ is going to help those in need, but why can't we just call a spade a spade here?
