I expect that the best part of Allbarn's game will be what it has been all season... the punter.

It would be incredibly foolish for little nicki to run up the score in Jordan Hare; even Spurrier knew better.

However, if Chris Todd keeps throwing the ball to red helmets...

Looks like they'll leave it up to the kicker.

HORRIBLE clock management by Auburn at the end of this one....

More awful clock management in the sec. Auburn runs 6 plays in more than a minute needing a td to win. 5 yard passes in the middle of the field and running plays will not get it done.

Not when it matters most, apparently.

Probably not fair to judge him on what he did at/to Iowa State but I'll take your comment under advisement and reserve a decision until a later date. Obviously, his clock management skills have not improved.
Just needs to catch up on his reading:

I can't ever remember feeling good about losing an AU-UA game, but with all the "Saban will own Auburn because he is a god and we pay him 4 mil a year" talk, I can't help but feel great about the next few years. Chizik may indeed have squandered some time at the end, but I think part of the problem was roster depth and the guys were running on emotional fumes by then.

On paper, there is no reason to think Auburn had a chance. Did a certain crimson-clad douchebag get out-coached for fifty-eight minutes? I think so and judging from his postgame presser, so does little nicki.

Chizik is working on a top five recruiting class this year. If he can bring in some talented depth and if Auburn can keep OC Gus Malzhan long enough to fully install his system, this rivalry will once again have national relevance.

Cheesedick: Nick - we're just going to play extreme prevent for the last 7-8 minutes. All you have to do is pass under it and get 8-10 yards per play.

Saban: Whoa! Okay - sure - works for me!

I fucking melted. No way 'Bama should have won this game.
Did you catch the fact that Auburn's starting (and all three are freshmen) linebackers played the entire game? I'm surprised they could still lift their arms.

As for the play calling at the end, that last drive made more progress than the prior two.

The Tigers will be betterer. You've already got a commitment from the #1 rated RB in the country (Dyer) and a shitload of other top-notch kids.
Seastrunk and Lattimore are the #1 and #2 RBs in the country according to most recruiting services. #3 is still pretty nice but not #1.

My bad. I knew that.

Is Seastrunk still a fairly solid lean toward AU as well?
He appears to be more open now than he was. Depends on the recruiting service as to what you hear. ESPN still has him as more interested in Allbarn than anyone else but it's starting to look like Cal, UCLA, and Baylor have pretty good shots with him. He was showing a lot of interest in Oklahoma as well until Brennan Clay and Roy Finch both committed to OU (they're both top 10 backs as well). Dyer's commitment is what cooled him towards Allbarn. From what I gather or get the impression of is he doesn't want or like the idea of competition... which would scare me toward him personally.
