I find myself in a quandary. The person most qualified for an opening on my team has the last name of Dikshit. Pyushna Dikshit. Pushes dick shit? Wha? Yes, he is from India. No, I am not kidding.

Think of all of the hilarity that will ensue should this person ever accompany us to a Happy Hour:

"That was some good code you wrote today, Dikshit... way to go."

"Hey, Dikshit, how's your wife?"

I gotta admit, I found myself smiling a lot during this last interview. I am sure that put him at ease. Little did he know I was LMMFAO on the inside. Hhhmmmm... what to do.

What silly names do you work with?

Of course.

Worked with someone whose last name was Shittu or something. When conducting demos of software where the username was displayed people thought abshitu was a distasteful joke.

No, it's the standard username assigned based on the person's last name.

Don't know anyone whose name quite compares to that, but I have worked with Sgt. Pepper, Sgt. Carter (the name of Gomer Pyle's superior), Billy Martin, Charlie Brown, and Jay Bytheway.

Pushinyer Dickshit is a most unfortunate moniker.

Why? I'd be hard-pressed to come up with a nic funnier than his real name.

Maybe "Chip"?

The OL used to work with somebody named Kahn Dahm.

My old boss was Richard Hopper, and he actually went by the name Dick.

Rack quality military humor.

In one of the Navy schools, the last name of my best friend's section advisor was "Gay". As a rule, all school students had to have their advisor's name on their security badge in embossing tape.

So basically it looked like this:

Smith, Jacob
Gay

ouch.

Mine was "Dykeman". Not much better.

Best name I ever saw was Seaman Sample. Kinda felt bad for the dude, as he was one of those genuinely nice people, yet when someone saw his rating badge and name tag, they'd snicker/snort right in his face.

Dikshit... You win. Top ten with a silver bullet. Working here in Thailand, the best I can come up with is our entomologist, Jigsaw. But I also have the fortune of working with some pretty hot thai women. Quite hot. Pictures to follow at some point soon.

A few late adds: We currently have Johnny Walker working in our building (no sign of Captain Morgan yet, however), I went to high school with a chick named Melody Music, and my sister went to school with Candy Sprinkles. Talk about someone born to to work in the pron industry.

Dikshit's credit score didn't pass the muster... looks like I'll have to choose the best looking chick from the remaining pool.

I remember my frosh year of high school and the first day of school I was in geometry class and the teacher started calling role.

Teacher: "Kris Barry"
Student: "Here"

Teacher: "Marcus Bollom"
Student: "Here"

Teacher: "Sharon Cox"
Me: :snorts:

The teacher turns to me and gives me the 'grow the fuck up' look. Then I said, "I'm sorry. I'm not Sharon Cox, nor will I ever be Sharon Cox."

A visit to the principal's office shortly ensued there after.

I have a lot of Indian customers, mostly property owners. However one owns a pharmacy and his name is Shittu. I call him Mr Patel.

I call my group the 'Patel Hotel Cartel'. The laugh when I tell them and hand over a couple of Bens to support the Central Coast India Club. The they refer me to more Patels.

Let me guess...they were going over apostrophes while you were sitting in detention?
